The welcome mat will eventually go outside on the large deck made of recycled plastic.

Ths view is from our front yard looking toward the garage. I love our cedar siding but dear hubby hates having to stain it every 5 years!

Mudroom, laundry room with access to garage and backyard

We have many titles: wife, mom, gram, homemaker, gardener...

We wear many HATS and carry many bags and we walk in many shoes ...

On many, many different paths...

this is actually our mudroom but with the plants added it looks more like a sunroom.

painting knotty pine with grooves has proven to be the bitch I was hoping it was magically not.

I put Tank in the mudroom when he came calling, and he was apparently foodseeking. There was no longer any food in this room. Except, of course, the foot powder.

 

Dogs are not good spellers.

Pantry will be on the left, Mudroom on the right.

We've installed some industrial flooring into the washer/dryer nook as a short term solution. Long term we'll replace the mudroom and kitchen floors entirely.

These murals were the start of what would be a short lived exploration in self employment. Maybe I will try being a muralist again someday.
