An old sharecropper's house with its colorful and patched shingle roof is reflected in a mud puddle from recent heavy rains in eastern NC.
Bringing the boys wellington's was the smartest packing move that Marc, Brian and I made. They were great for the beach and water.
This week's challenge was tough! This is where having a smaller dog would come in handy.
After two days of rain, Murphy was ready to play and what better place than a mud puddle!
Although I am not completely thrilled with this picutre (color isnt great), I love that it captures his playful side. And, he definitely should NOT be in the mud puddle!
No I am just kidding. The architect(s) probably had no such intention for this building.

Rainy rainy rainy. I jumped outside my house like an idiot in this mud puddle for at least 10 minutes while cars drove by. I felt pretty special. I edited out something in this picture VERY poorly (with Paint haha). Can you see where?
It rained a lot yesterday...I woke up to a yard full of mud puddles!
And yes, that IS my head reflected in the puddle. Lol!
My little girl is quickly growing and jumping out of that title, but she constantly fills my life with light!
A point in the picture plane π that is the intersection of the projections (or drawings) of a set of parallel lines in space on to the picture plane. When the set of parallels is perpendicular to the picture plane, the construction is known as one-point perspective and their vanishing point corresponds to the oculus or eye point O from which the image should be viewed for correct perspective geometry. Traditional linear drawings use objects with one to three sets of parallels, defining one to three vanishing points.
But with a big mudpuddle in the middle.
Inconsistent parenting - saying "don't you dare jump in that puddle!!" most days, and then one day saying "hey lets jump in that puddle! And hang on do it again for the camera!"... oh well, it was fun :)

Traveling between Mbonge and Kumba
Although we went in the dry season, it did rain a little on part of the road. This is just a taste of what the road becomes in the rainy season. One advantage, it did keep the dust down so we didn't need the masks that much.
