I didn't take this photo but the owner asked me to post it anyway. Taken from the Rockies at Mt. Maculot's shoulder.
Mt. Dunagiri (7066m) and Mt. Changabang(6864m) -- we are still trying to figure out which one it is..
Not sure what this is/was. Located next to the wellington Harriers Building in Alexandra Rd, Newtown on the Mt Victoria Ridge.
Mount Kabuyao is a mountain near Baguio City in Benguet Province, Luzon, Philippines.
Its peak is more than 2,000 meters above sea level. It is commonly mistaken as Mt. Sto. Tomas which is a taller mountain just beside it. Due to its height, several communication companies constructed relay stations at the summit.
A private observatory and AA radar station, once operated by the US Armed Forces stationed in the country, is also located here.
A water catchment area was constructed to supply water to the City of Baguio and nearby towns. A small community of farmers live at the top of the mountain. A Town Hall and a School was built for them by the local government.
The summit is also a good vantage point.
During a fair weather, one can see the whole City of Baguio to the east and could partially see the province of Pangasinan to the west.
On a clear day, one can observe moving cargo ships passing by the South China Sea.
Hikers climb the mountain occasionally for recreational purposes.

In the 1970s we hiked many times from the parking lot at the tea house into the alpine meadow above. Every hike gave us new views of the mountain and the wildflowers growing in the meadow. We never tired of that trek!

Another great day of Classic Trials in Canterbury, NZ, as over 40 riders tackled 4 rounds of 10 sections at Kerry's Mt Thomas property. The sections had tight turns, roots, and slippery banks that helped push my score up. The top grade also faced some challenges, but some great rides were witnessed with some riders managing low scores for the day. It was good to see some new/returning riders and more riding the harder line. Thanks to Peter who managed the BBQ, and Kerry for the use of his property. Special mention to Alistair who drove to North Canterbury from Dunedin to take part, having a good ride now on a Fantic. Enjoy the photos.

When you look closely at the right peak, you can see the smoke from a fire from climbers. They've reached the highest point in America, and the tallest mountain in the entire world.
Because it starts at sea level, Mt. Mckinley is not technically as high in height as Everest. Mount Mckinley, from base to tip, is the tallest mountain in the world. Everest starts above sea level and that's why it's technically the highest point in the world.
