The Foxhound, also known as Ocelot, is a British MRAP designed in 2010 to replace older armoured Land rovers as a protected infantry mobility vehicle.
This vehicle is currently in service within the British army and was deployed in Afghanistan in 2012.
My model of it has various features : Ability to roll, openable front and back doors, openable hatches on the roof, space inside for 2 figures (one behind the other)...
It was made as a commission for @the_squadie_bricks_
This vehicle ends my little series of British equipment, but no worries some may still appear in the future 😉.
Instructions are now available on my Rebrickable page : rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-213131/Spartane/foxhound-ocelot-...

The Oshkosh Defense Mine Resistant Ambush Protected All Terrain Vehicle (M-ATV) is a utility vehicle in service with the US Armed Forces and numerous other counties worldwide. Intended as a replacement for the Humvee in frontline combat roles, it entered service in 2009. The ‘Matvee’ was designed to provide the same levels of protection as larger and heavier MRAPs types, but with improved mobility, a job it accomplished extremely well in the mountains of Afghanistan and deserts of Iraq, Syria, and the Horn of Africa. However, it is still a large and relatively heavy vehicle, and is currently being supplanted in all US military branches with Oshkosh's L-ATV, which won the DoD's Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) competition.
Yess, so here is the RHIB! I really like it and you can add a small roof. It fits 4 minifigs in full gear.
I hope you guys like it and let me know what you think!
Also, I want to go more to an anti terrorist/drug kartel unit, you can say I really am inspired by ghost recon wildlands...
Pictures of the trucks are coming, although I might replace them by MRAPs and armoured vehicles.
I changed the design heavily and used the knowledge I have with creating the "Aegean" MRAP. I like how it came out so far, more post to come, probably another outside aesthetic shot :) !
The Mk.V version of the NDC's Dragoon APV.
As the C405 Wolfhound ambulance has the same carrying capacity as the older Dragoon ambulance, that version had become pretty much redundant. I've been thinking about building a different version of some kind, but in the meantime my second Dragoon has been rebuilt as a standard patrol/reconnaissance version (like the original one).
A couple of months back, Evan asked me if I would be interested in building some vehicles for the British faction of this little fictional universe going on. Felt a bit inspired today and threw this together in roughly 3 hours: The Shepherd MRAP.
The Casspir and RG-35 were the main inspirations and the vehicle design follows a raher simple philosophy of building a V-shaped bottom and then putting everything else on that in a functional way, which leads to the admittedly butt-ugly design a lot of these vehicles have.
This model features the usual: Suspension and steering, opening doors and room for 8 people.
Unfortunately the render settings were not ideal, since a lot of the detail on the wheel-well is completely in shadow right now.
Recently I had a chance to setup an improvised light-box for photos of some of my recent builds. Over the next week I will be uploading photos of some of the more "smaller" military builds that I have made during the later portion of this year. Enjoy the first of the series of models, the Cougar HE 6x6, spotted in my USAF photos, that I have 4 built.
*Not all models were able to fit inside it, and the lighting wasn't the best, nor the camera quality.
The Oshkosh M-ATV is an MRAP vehicle sporting an O-GPK turret with a .50 HMG, a V-shaped hull, and significant armored protection. Despite its weight and size, the MATV manages better offroad capability than its counter-parts and even some lighter armored vehicles due to it's ground clearance and suspension.
Once again, special thanks to Evan Melick for doing all the grunt work and allowing me to work off of his base design.

Small scene showcasing some of my most recent models, and a couple that's currently still in the works.
A little preview of what's to come, working on another MRAP built with using instructions by Corvin Stichert JMTV design:

Needs some work still on it though, but since I'm away from home any fixing will have to be done when I go on break from school.
Old version of Batisbricks 's Humvee and MRAP, a small convoy by four customers. Photo taken by Antony, yesterday war-game event.
In 2025, the US military was starting to look for a replacement for its fleet of aging MRAP vehicles, which had seen much conflict in their time and were quickly coming to the end of their service life.
To that end, the military comissioned a new program to be started, which would combine the versatility of the Humvee and JLTV with the protection of an MRAP. The result was the joint modular tactical vehicle - JMTV.
The JMTV is composed of four basic modules:
The front, with the engine and drivers cab.
The passenger module, with 2 additional seats.
The armament module, which houses the ammunition and tech for the roof-mounted weapon.
And the rear, with the second gearbox and either one or two axles, depending on configuration, which can be equipped with hard and soft-top roofs.
However, the front and rear alone can form a functioning vehicle together already.
Other modules can be added, removed or replaced within 30 minutes in the field.
The armour, due to the modularity is not a monocoque design, but is locked together with internal clamps between the modules, which gives it the same degree of protection.
The modular design allows for an overall smaller number of vehicles, while providing the same range and mission-capability with different modules, which can be easily air-lifted.
After testing and evaluation, the JMTV will enter service with all four branches of the armed forces.
The largest variants have already affectionately been dubbed "combat limos" by the soldiers of the units testing the vehicles.
The heart of the M-ATV is a Caterpillar C8 diesel/electric hybrid engine, developing 400hp. Another unique feature is the second set of rear-hinged 'suicide doors', which can be found on many Oshkosh-designed trucks. Here, two US Marines have flipped up the hood and opened the doors, showing some of the interior details. The engine block itself can also be removed.
The Mack Defense Industries Manticore 6x6 MRAP is the latest Class II MRAp in service with the US military.
Produced by MDI, an offshoot of Mack Trucks Inc, the Manticore replaces older Class II vehicles such as the Cougar 6x6, RG 33L, and Caiman 6x6.
Riding slightly higher than previous Class II vehicles, the Manticore is also equipped with a gravitational equalizer at the bottom of the V hull, lowering the MRAP's center of gravity and making it much more effective in off-road conditions.
The Manticore carries a crew of two, driver and navigator/gunner, and is equipped with seating for up to 11 dismounts.
The Manticore is equipped with x2 paired smoke-grenade launchers on either side of the cab, and a twin M2A7 Browning equipped CROWS turret on the roof, along with a wire cutter over the cab.
This particular vehicle, 28, is attached to the USS Excelsior's (FCD 001) Shipboard Marine Detachment (SMD).

And this rounds out my USIMC vehicles posted for now. I have two more vehicles in my collection, but don't have the pics for them yet, so they'll be revealed later on.
Hope you all like it!
On the 4th of July what better way to show your patriotic pride than to have a military train full of MRAP's (Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicles cruising past the Jackrabbit Trading Post sign along old Route 66? The train was made up entirley of these, all 88 or so, 2 on each flatcar, with only about 12 not having the side protecting armourment mounts.

Both versions of the M-ATV I've put together so far. Although I usually prefer NATO 3-tone camo, the M-ATV is one vehicle that really looks good in tan.
Throughout the tumultuous decades of the early 21st century, Humvees could be spotted anywhere the American military deployed. Although almost completely replaced in frontline service by the larger M-ATVs by the late 2010s, the Humvee still remains a workhorse to this day. Their rugged mobility and relatively lightweight among lightly armored vehicles would ensure their utility on the battlefield, and most support echelons still heavily rely on them to conduct day-to-day business where a heavier MRAP-class vehicle or larger cargo truck is not required.
Here, three US Army soldiers assigned to the 10th Mountain Division dismount from their M1151 to conduct a foot patrol in Bulgaria during the immediate aftermath of NATO's intervention in the Second European War. Deployed in December 2017, the Alliance's multinational rapid reaction force consisted mostly of mechanized and light infantry formations, with German, British, American, and French armored units not engaging directly with the Yugoslav tanks until the final week of the conflict. While a ceasefire was signed in January 2018, the collapse of Russia into civil war a few years later, and the ever-present danger of Yugoslav-sponsored Black Cross militants popping out of their mountain strongholds, NATO and Partner ground forces have been busy in the region ever since. By the mid-2020s, the Stabilization Force in Eastern Europe (commonly known as SFOR) had expanded to deployments all along the Alliance's south-eastern front. Nowadays, Humvees like this one can still be seen in service with numerous countries participating in the mission, whether they are being used to conduct patrols along the Yugoslav and Hungarian borders, or even just to run errands between units.

Bit shout-out to the normal lads like Matt, Corvin, Brian, Andrew , Christian and Erik for help and ideas while designing it. The latter also designed the RWS turret, which I shamelessly stole.
And since a few people have asked, the cheese slopes on the front are connected by ThugLUG's patented flex tube shenanigans.
Mantis MRAP. Features opening doors, turn-able and functioning turret, suspension and front steering. Fits two minifigs in the front, one in the turret, and four in the rear. If enough people request it, i'll make an LDD file for this build. Some smaller details in this build really make it stand out for me, such as the bulged out front window (it gave me plenty of headaches!) and the different steps and widths around the side doors. This all made this build more complicated than it should of been, but make it special at the same time.

This is a unit very rarely seen on battlefields, it's even piloted not by a member of Fire Caste, but of Earth Caste instead. It is meant to perform mine clearing and combat engineering. Additional small manipulators are extremely useful for fine works with sensitive electronics and explosives. An up-armoured carapace made of an unusual modification of nano-crystalline alloy (more dense and much stronger, yet much heavier) provides the highest protection possible, it is said to withstand a simultaneous point blank range fire of several Imperial Knights. These battlesuits are often accompanied by a special type of drones - bugs, they can serve either as reconnaissance units or as kamikaze remote controlled bombs.
Still have lots of WH40K sketches, ideas and incomplete models. And I'm still trying to finish them! Thought these might be more interesting than a couple of MRAPs I originally planned to post. Yeah, these are surely heavily influenced by a modern bomb squad suit with its distinctive neck protection and chunky/bulky appearance. Hope you like them!
Spanish Republic's Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle also known as the "Lynx" is a durable and hard hitting vehicle known to withstand punishment and keep on pushing on through it.

First operational version after the technology demonstrator completed it's trial runs with the USMC.
Credit to Evan for his M-ATV influence.
I wanted to do something a bit different to fill the MRAP role in my faction. I thought the Hawkei would be a good fit. I like the design of the vehicle, and it's a bit of a shame that I couldn't translate a lot of the angles and details into the LEGO design. I think it needs some redesigning, but I'll wait until I have it in the brick to revise it.
As always, criticism is welcome and if you'd like the LXF file let me know!
Another breakdown from the 'How To' department.
This is just a very basic way to build an MRAP-type vehicle with a V-shaped bottom.
The RG 31 is a South African MRAP, which is currently in use across a number of militaries worldwide. This model represents a US RG 31 Mk5A1.
I designed this model on commission to an ex-serviceman. Other views (non-rendered) and more information to come...
Despite it being labeled in game as an MRAP the real life Fennek does not have the necessary armour to protect it from IEDs. I also have ordered parts and I plan to do this in Olive green and tan camouflage. This build seats 4 figures in the correct positions. Next I plan to make some figures in correct uniform for their corresponding factions.
