Mount Rainier is the highest mountain of the Cascade Range of the Pacific Northwest, and the highest mountain in the U.S. state of Washington. It is a large active stratovolcano located 54 miles (87 km) south-southeast of Seattle, in the Mount Rainier National Park. It is the most topographically prominent mountain in the contiguous United States and the Cascade Volcanic Arc, with a summit elevation of 14,411 ft (4,392 m). Mt. At 14,411 feet, Mount Rainier is the highest volcanic peak in the Cascade Mountain Range. Mount Rainier National Park is the nation's 5th National Park. It was created in 1899. It is a land of exceptional beauty, containing lowland valleys, waterfalls, alpine scenery and more than 25 glaciers. There are also two historic hotels located within the Park.
On the way to Christchurch. Rest with the bus on the picnic area. Nice view from the toilets.

Mount Kinabalu is the tallest mountain in Malaysia,measuring at 4,095 metres.
Here is a couple of my buddies sitting on a little ledge up on Mount Sagamook. This moutain is not quite as high as Mount Carleton however the trail is much more steep and the view is far more spectacular.
