Looking at Mount McKelvie and friends, seen from the the eastern side of the Haihte Range.
Taken on a trip to Ya'ai Peak, Haihte Spire, Half Dome, Viking Dome, and Rugged Mountain in the Haihte Range.
Ran across another photo of a glacier storm on Mount Rainer here, by Scott Hotaling, and thought about the beautiful conditions during our visit there this past August: what a difference!
My DIY camera mount seems to be pretty steady. Camera no longer rattles, as a small piece of rubber inside the case keep the camera snugly in place. I hope to add an articulation arm soon.
The dogs enjoyed the ride. The video was sort of washed out in color when the bright sunlight hit the camera lense. Not sure if a filter will help or is available, but my video conversion program didn't have an option to fix the video.
Mount Kerr (2280 metres or 7480 feet) is the highest point of the Marble Range west of Clinton, BC. The sharp knob on the left is sometimes called "False Mount Kerr". Viewed from the summit of Mount Begbie to the northeast.

These and other commercial buildings along the north side of west 2nd avenue will likely make way for new development in the near future.
Mount Sunday, site of Edoras in "The Lord of the Rings," rises out of the plain. Mountains in the background had more snow in the movie. Glaciers carved the valley during the last ice age, but couldn't move the solid granite outcropping.
