My son has been raising mosquitos' in the garden. It was time to get a picture of the offspring. These shots were a real headache! I wanted to use natural light but Wales was not bathed in sun.
My objective today was to document the backyard macro world. Focus is a challenge, but you all know that. I wasn't real thrilled to see a mosquito. It's far cooler to see native bees.

I don't know what this mosquito is. However it was photographed in Edmonton, where the current trap yields are shown below. This mosquito was photographed on a hot day.

At times the mosquitos were really annoying - big and in your face. But they don't bite like the ones at home. Yes all those speckles in the video are bugs!
