In eastern India the mosquito fight was reaching new levels. It seemed like a heavy dosis of DEET insect repellent and my normal moquito net was not sufficient anymore. Then I would put up my tent in the bed and sleep inside. The problem was that the air wouldn't circulate well inside the tent, so it normally got uncomfortably hot. Oh well, the sacrifices of travel.

Though formidable looking this close up, its not a position a Mosquito pilot likes to find himself with an enemy mech. Even a light mech can make sort work of a Mosquito at this sort of range, the Mosquito prefers to keep at a safe distance, lest it be swatted.
Searching for bamboo shoots, for lunch. There are also several wild boars in this mountain area, did not see any, but many tracks. Fighting off the mosquitoes. Hunting down bamboo shoots for lunch. The best are around 1 metre tall. ( I mean the bamboo....not the mosquitoes)
