Taken early one morning a few weeks ago on one of our favourite beaches on the Gower Peninsula, Oxwich Bay. Another perfect day in South Wales :o)

Zorie was helping Mom blend eggs in the kitchen. Her sweet smile looked so warm in the cold morning. Yeah~It was surely a lovely morning!

I decided to play with shooting black and white rather than converting to black and white in pp. Morning light was warming these to bullies as they were at alert for anything interesting. Larger stares.

TalkPhotography.co.uk 52 Photo Challenge 2015 Week 04 Morning Light

Week 14 of 52 of 2014. The theme is IN MOTION, and these skimmers are definitely in motion as they fly over the Atlantic Ocean shortly after Saturday's sunrise. See the entire 52 of 2014 set at www.flickr.com/photos/thesussman/sets/72157639288997073/.

Heather and I went down to Savannah, GA this weekend and had a great time. I have a ton of photos to go through, including sunrise and sunset shots, the Tybee Island Lighthouse, the Savannah Riverfront, Bonaventure Cemetery, and more! I'll be sharing those photos throughout the week, but to fulfill this week's theme, my first Savannah photos are of beach birds.

This is shot off the stern of the Northcote Point Ferry. I was slightly hung over from the night before but I grabbed my camera and headed off to the wharf to catch the boat and go collect my car that I had left in the city. Getting up and doing something sometimes has its rewards. Today was a brilliant day!

The sun coming over the ridge in the Southeast.

I am a night person, so I love when summer comes and bring the morning to me at night.

The sun is out this morning and Miss Cheeky decided that rather a Riverwalk she wanted to do a bit of Bushwalking along the Hunter River, so off we went this morning, she spotted a Fox some Waterfowl but no Snake this morning.

Early morning shot taken at Berry College in Rome, Georgia.

Photo of the day January 31, 2022 - I was running an errand this morning and spotted this beautiful sky when I parked the car. My wife and I get to enjoy some beautiful sky and cloud formations in this part of the country.

A woman starts the day in Japan carrying a plastic bag. I felt that this was an OK shot but a better one had been missed.

One of my shots from the morning sun :) I thought I'd eat an apple because I love them :) <3

I really enjoyed this shoot, I'm sitting on my shed. I had to climb onto a chair, then a wheelie bin, then a cupboard thingy for garden tools and then the shed, it was so tiring but well worth it I think. I'm happy with how some turned out :)

Every morning I am wake up early to go for a walk down to the farm. I leave grandpa´s ranch and walk on the red dirt until I reach the 2 gigantic mango trees.

That´s where my farm begins.

I walk down the hillside, past the trees we´ve reforested over the years, smell the fresh air as I arrive in the valley and hear the milking of the cows.

Donizete and his brother rented some pasture from me and my father and they are milking a dozen or so cows.

I don´t drink milk and am slightly disgusted as the cows pee or defecate while they are being milked (how are you enjoying your breakfast?) but I appreciate the work and sweat of men who wake at the crack of dawn to do their work.

Work. Work. Work.

Routine.Routine.Routine.

What nobler task for the human being than to be the fruit of his efforts?

Or should I say good morning Washington, DC! Actually, The Vietnam Veterans Memorial is only about 1,000 feet from where I photographed this so I wasn’t too far from a “Vietnam” theme.

The ugly looking obelisk with the scaffolding is the Washington Monument which has been under construction since the August 2011 earthquake. If you are planning a trip to the Nation’s capitol soon, be warned that construction will not be completed until sometime in 2014. That’s really a bummer because everywhere you take a photograph in Washington, DC it seems the Washington Monument is always in the background.

I got up early this particular morning because in the spring and summer the sunrise runs parallel to the Lincoln Memorial (rising near the Washington Monument) and bathes the statue of Mr. Lincoln in warm, soft light. As you can see from my photograph that didn’t happen, so I had to settle for this lonely jogger running along the Reflecting Pool.

Happy Travels!

Typical morning in south Piedmont

Morning Dew outside my home this semester at Den Rytmiske Højskole

Starting the morning with a smoke and enjoying the view of street. Perfect morning for it.

Haputale is a town of Badulla District in the Uva Province, Sri Lanka, governed by an Urban Council. The elevation is 1431 m (4695 ft) above the sea level. The area has a rich bio-diversity dense with numerous varieties of flora and fauna. Haputale is surrounded by hills covered with cloud forests and tea plantations. The town has a cooler climate than its surroundings, due to its elevation.

The Haputale pass allows views across the Southern plains of Sri Lanka. The South-West boundary of Uva basin is marked by the Haputale mountain ridges, which continue on to Horton Plains and Adam's Peak to the west. CNN named Haputale as one of Asia's most overlooked destinations.

The Lipton’s Seat is located at Dambetenna in the Haputale Mountain region. This place was a favourite look-outpoint for Sir Thomas Lipton. The point has a fabulous view over Uva, Southern, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Eastern provinces.

We spent two days in Haputale exploring this small town and nearby tea plantations - it was rather a pleasant experience since the town is not pointed out in the guidebooks, and thus far less visited by tourists.

Here this early morning picture is taken close to the Lipton's Seat viewpoint - a really special tea plantation area offering marvelous views from its top and around.

This is another shot from a sunrise on top of Grassy Ridge back in October. This was taken shortly after the sun had risen and there were a few minutes where the light and fog created this moody scene. Something about the mood of this photo keeps bringing me back to that morning, so I wanted to share it with all of you.

I am slowly getting caught up on pictures but still have a long way to go. Thanks for all of the views and comments.

On my way out the door this morning, running late for work... Finally some sun after a day of rain!

Early morning sunshine nearly washes away the details of theses flowers. Apart from the normal dramatic images I usually take, I wanted to attempt a more subtle spring like feel with these flowers. I have attempted to shoot these flowers and failed so many times to capture their beauty, but now I feel I have come close.

A mixed flock of galahs (Eolophus roseicapilla) and long-billed corellas (Cacatua tenuirostris) take flight across the morning sky.

Yesterday morning, looking outside as I was waking up, this is what I saw. Just had to grab my camera and shake the out of my telephoto lens, and there you go...
