Hello there! Finally spring is here and I will take some photos in this weekend...This old wooden ski jump tower was built in year 1962 and it is still in use.More info: www.skisprungschanzen.com/EN/Ski+Jumps/FIN-Finland/ES-Sou...
Believe it or not, the woman is a serious runner.. She was not jogging barefoot. Instead she was running, at speed, and the child was almost keeping up. She stopped for a few seconds, after running toward me, the child caught up and they took off at full speed running back the other way. The woman probably weighs 90-lbs.
This is Svea Ingwersen, who led me use her studio flashs and taught me a lot about photographie. Visit her site =)
The theme of this shooting was "the twenties". We had a lot of fun and she had to smoke lots of cigaretts because i wasn´t fast enough with the flashs. ^^

On my way home from work this morning i had to grab my camera and get some photos of these beautiful colours looking over to Shoreham Power Station from Lancing beach green in West Sussex.
Early morning at Afton Mountain.
I almost never set out to photograph a landscape, nor do I think of my camera as a means of recording a mountain or an animal unless I absolutely need a 'record shot'. My first thought is always of light. - Galen Rowell

An early morning view of Chaukhamba Massif and Himalaya with the hills below. The sun rises on the right of the picture and the peaks are washed out in the morning. The haze adds to the mystry.
This picture is taken on the way to Chamba from Dhanaulti on a clear sunday morning of october. The months of October, November and December are known for clear views of Himalaya after the monsoon.
Chaukhamba is a mountain massif in the Gangotri Group of the Garhwal Himalaya. Its main summit, Chaukhamba I, is the highest peak in the group. It lies at the head of the Gangotri Glacier and forms the eastern anchor of the group.
Chaukamba has four summits, along a northeast-southwest trending ridge, and ranging in elevation from 7,138 metres (23,419 ft) to 6,854 m (22,487 ft) with an average elevation 7,014 m;[3] the main summit is at the northeast end.
Chaukamba I 7,138 m (23,419 ft)
Chaukamba II 7,070 m (23,196 ft)
Chaukamba III 6,995 m (22,949 ft)
Chaukamba IV 6,854 m (22,487 ft)

These shots were taken on my morning walk with my dog Sasha. The Autumn colors are becoming very apparent with cool and crisper mornings. I pulled out all the stops on this shot with spot metering, neutral colors, and no holding the dog's leash. I processed this in Photoshop Elements to bring out the rich colors and contrasts. This overlooks the former West Milford Lake, and the morning foggy mist was hanging over the marshy land just right. I'm sometimes amazed at what I can get from that Canon SX150 camera. This is a single shot, no bracketing, image.
