Not sure what type of roses these are, but there is a whole stand of them near one of my favorite forested areas, and they really stood out in the misty, foggy morning. Hope I'm not boring you with my foggy adventures from Saturday :-)
Have a great Tuesday....thanks for stopping by to visit!!!!!

a sculptured piece by an Eastport artist, that is catching shadows from a delicate curtain...it reminded me of Mardi Gras with the sun catching some of the luminous colors..and what a morning after mess to clean up in N'Orleans.
I love all the different frost patterns on our vehicles in the morning. The different colors were a surprise.
Worth seeing bigger.
Early morning as the sun is rising. A small mist floating across the lake and the low angle of the sun creating a superb reflection in the dark waters.
I woke up this Red Fox early one morning when I was out for a walk. He didn't seem to be scared, just sat there for a moment before he slowly waked away.

A macro experiment done while I was taking sunrise landscape photos. The previous post is one of the sunrise landscape images that I was taking.
After being on Flickr for a bit, I'm trying to experiment with different kinds of photography. There are so many great, creative people on Flickr its inspiring to look at their images.

The weather has once again changed for the worse, quite cool this morning with an icy wind, but a morning Riverwalk we did nevertheless, we must keep Miss Cheeky happy, right? 🐶😁
Happy Blue Monday
Early in the morning when the sun has yet to warm their hollow bones the birds huddle. On the Port side of town in Port Townsend (also a Mill Side). The lighthouse in the distance is at Fort Worden State Park.

A serene winter scene of Lake Pühajärv in Otepää, Estonia, showcasing a tranquil water surface under an overcast sky. Bare trees line the shore, their branches reaching into the gray sky, while dry reeds extend into the water. Fallen leaves cover the path near the water’s edge. In the distance, more trees border the lake’s opposite side, enhancing the peaceful atmosphere of this winter morning landscape.
As I was getting the kids ready for school this morning, my wife texted me that she could barely see anything in the city because of all the fog, so after the drop-offs, I drove over to Mt Eden and waited for the fog to start burning off. I got some pretty epic shots. This is one of them.
Here you are looking northeast over Newmarket towards Rangitoto Island.
