A cold December morning at low tide under Paignton Pier. A 1 min exposure taken using a 10 stop ND filter. One of my fist attempts but I think it turned out ok. Looks even better on black.

I've taken this photo in Fontalirant, near Thenon in France. It was quite early in the morning and I really enjoyed the moment I spent there.

All Inside This
A poem by Peter S. Quinn
There was a time
All inside this
In morning’s prime
The first of kiss
When light embraces
The hours on
And new dawn laces
To twilight's gone
There was a way
With passion's flame
In a new born day
Not done the same
When words were whole
Of inspirations thought
That had their goal
In what they ought
There is a word
That is worth knowing
That often occurred
When thoughts were flowing
It was of the kisses
New morning gives
One sometimes misses
When a loss relives
God jul / Merry Christmas! I haven't had much of an online presence in the past few months, but (of course) that's about to change with the new year. At the moment I'm enjoying the pretty morning views from my old bedroom window, cooking, walking and doing my best to take it easy.
Evidently these sailboats are referred to as a "Fireball". The morning sunrise seems to echo the name

Morning Has Broken ~ Cat Stevens
www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5sSEkZ86ts
Morning has broken, like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird
Praise for the singing, praise for the morning
Praise for them springing fresh from the world
Sweet the rains new fall, sunlit from heaven
Like the first dewfall, on the first grass
Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden
Sprung in completeness where his feet pass
Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning
Born of the one light, eden saw play
Praise with elation, praise every morning
God's recreation of the new day
Good morning my friends! ~ e
On this morning I went back to check out the light. I found it ok for the start. Later i thought it's fine. The more I look at it the more i like it. Not sure if I got the full potential of the situation. Traveling and shooting it's all about getting the best from whats offered. I dont have weeks to wait for the very best location and the very best weather for the very best mood for the location. It's just take the very best of what's there where you are now, regardless of the circumstances.
So it's not all about the the best framing and light capture. It's catching the moment with the emotion it should generate/transport to the viewer. I'm sure that what i do see in this picture, is very different from what others do. Sometimes I get blind seeing things who are just not there but I project the emotion to the picture while taking it and other viewers cant follow me then. Anyway I Like the picture it might no be the very master-peace but, I for now don't care. Have a nice day.
