There is something so fresh about the early morning, when the world seems to be made anew.
For us the stands of trees on the opposite hillside wake when the crows and rooks that nest there suddenly rise like a cloud and fly off. This day I missed the big exodus!

The last morning of the trip the weather didn't know what it wanted to do. It rained, the sun came out, it got cloudy again. It did however, result in this mini rainbow over one of the distant hills.

A Snowy Morning
Up early on snow patrol looking for some of the white stuff to photograph.
South Lanarkshire was my target and even though the sky didn't do what I was hoping I still had fun in the snow.
