I spotted this interesting piece in a Melbourne Art Deco Museum and unfortunately, under some domestic pressure to move along, didn't get the details of what it was about.

the lighting was not good, and the P&S did its best, but I converted it to a old timer look more in keeoing with the age of it anyway, and having the side benefit of hiding the noise a bit.

Clearing out the archives in the science department at the school and came across these film canisters. My mind immediately went back to my days in the classroom and the whirring sounds of the projector and the flippa-flippa-flippa as the end of the film arrived.

Zoo Lake park offers one of Johannesburg's best daytime picnic spots. Here an assortment of activities awaits visitors of every age, who can enjoy a relaxed outdoor environment with the option of paddling across the man-made lake. During weekends and public holidays the park attracts its largest crowds, lured by the open space and dappled sunshine.

The famed staircase in the Rookery Building in Chicago, IL. Public access is limited to the lobby of the building, where you really can't see much of the staircase; however, a $5 tour of the lobby will take you up a floor to see the magnificent staircase for a few seconds. I am glad I was able to get a decent shot with a different perspective than what I had seen on the internet. Definitely worth the 5 bucks!

Today marks the first day back to school for our two kids since the beginning of the '2 week lockdown' that occurred over 3 months ago...

Mask wearing is mandatory for highschoolers, primary aged children perhaps not, I'm not too sure, but it looks like a lot of kids will be wearing masks during class attendance for at least the remainder of this year.

I still find mask wearing confronting but with children it feels the worst, a greater level of sadness to the symbolism attached perhaps, like somehow we've failed them or something...

Scored 20/20 in our first camera competition of the season in the "Projected Images" section.

I've been so incredibly busy that even the camera has had to stay home. I'm desperately trying to catch up with all your pictures!

Close up on my bank holiday walk. Took a while to get the light but i think i got it.

I have a love/hate relationship with Canada Geese. They mess up the parks and open spaces near practically any shoreline, but are a symbol of beauty and grace when they are in flight.

I tweaked this shot in Lightroom to create the silhouettes, and show off the delightful light through the wings.

There is a delightful trail around the western edge of Lake Ontario that makes for a great way to spend time walking, biking, or roller blading. It is paved and mostly flat, which is why I say it's delightful.

This is a shot from my phone camera when we were taking a bit of a water break in the shade. The shadows caught my attention.

A rare occasion that I took my 17-40mm off the 17mm setting to the other end. This old lady was taking a walk up to the gold exhibit of the British Museum. As usual, I take more interest in the building over it's exhibits!

Will this do for 7dos mono aqua????

I like how the grass adds to the depth of the image and how black and white brings out the atmosphere. Still trying to see what works and what doesn't, and happy whenever a picture does.
