In the forest by the beach in Ao Nang lived about 20 monkeys. They didn´t seem to bother about the 2 photographers moving around them.

The Mantled Howler (Alouatta palliata), or Golden-mantled Howling Monkey, is a species of howler monkey, a type of New World monkey, from Central and South America. It is one of the monkey species most often seen and heard in the wild in Central America. It takes its "mantled" name from the long guard hairs on its sides.
White faced capuchin monkeys came to the restaurant in the mornings from seven to around eight and provided great entertainment for us touristy types! They would put out bananas for them, but this little guy seems to have retrieved a bag of something and is holding it tightly!

My Daughters 12th Birthday April 2012 and a vist to Monkey world in Wareham Dorset was the order of the day.
The Photos are not the best because of the fencing & Glass screens that reflect back, but I hope you like these few shots and would like it even more if you visted Monkey World to see them yourself.
