The Mantled Howler (Alouatta palliata), or Golden-mantled Howling Monkey, is a species of howler monkey, a type of New World monkey, from Central and South America. It is one of the monkey species most often seen and heard in the wild in Central America. It takes its "mantled" name from the long guard hairs on its sides.

A Pygmy-monkey with it's tongue out

My Daughters 12th Birthday April 2012 and a vist to Monkey world in Wareham Dorset was the order of the day.

The Photos are not the best because of the fencing & Glass screens that reflect back, but I hope you like these few shots and would like it even more if you visted Monkey World to see them yourself.

Please comment below if you have been after this date (April 2012) or plan to go soon.

Les soigneurs du parc national les attirent en leur donnant des poissons. Mais le nombre de poissons distribués est strictement limité pour qu'ils continuent de chasser par eux-mêmes.
