Northbound coming into Mohawk

like father, like daughter

It was my birthday. I had warned that I was going to, and then I did. Or rather she did. Heather, my beautiful friend and Queen of the Scissors left me with a nicely shaven skull.

But along the way, she had to have her fun (and mine as well) by giving me a mohawk. There's a first for everything in life, I guess.

My good friend, Jason, whom you can kind of see in the background is the one who took these pictures.

he even had a texas Longhorns logo shaved onto his other hip. Attitude.

after years of trying to style his hair in a mohawk, bc it so easily stays that way, today was the day he finally lets me.

Gosh, I'm still hurting all over from that task!

We, a group of nine people of all different sizes and weights, had to walk over those ropes in a row, hand over a little "treasure" from the frist to the last person when all nine of us were on the rope and then get off one after the other at the ending point, never touching the ground in between.

I don't know how many tries we needed, but it were many!

I guess this isn't really a Historic Marker, but it fits the format and I like it.
