To make the attachment work correctly, I cut off about half of the original attachment point of the air tank and dremeled down the area around it so that it would take the epoxy better.
For today’s Transformation Tuesday, we'll take a closer look at our "Project Proton" Isuzu VehiCROSS. In order to install each side's twin Diamond Audio Hex Series tweeters, we modified the original A-pillar covers (using a combination of epoxy resin and polyester mesh) and painted them to match the truck’s exterior. We also fabricated brand new door panels (comprised of medium-density fiberboard, body filler, and fiberglass) to house a pair of Diamond Audio Hex Speakers, on each side. And of course, to reduce annoying rattles and ensure optimal sound quality, we completely wrapped the doors in Dynamat.

My scooter came with a neat digital gauge system which included a thermometer. This is a ridiculous idea in my opinion for several reasons. First, it is widely inaccurate, especially when it is hot, but then again I ride it quite a bit more when it is hot than when it is cold, and it isn't that cold that often here in California. Second, it's on a damned scooter! If it's hot outside, I already know it! If it's cold outside, I already know it! It's not like I am sealed in a car with no particular reference to the outside temperature!
I have always felt that it would have been much better to install an electronic compass in it's place. I think this would be much more useful information, on a much more regular basis, since the thermometer is useful once per ride, maybe.
:) So now my scooter has a compass! I am happy. :p
This was also 3 bucks at the automotive store.

This is the rear NS part that needs modifying. I've drilled and ground out the side of the block at the top and made a thick fillet to fill the missing piece on the side

An old bottle that used to contain cat medicine. I picked it because I liked the cobalt blue color and that it was slightly translucent.
this photo has been pp with perspective "correction" so that the first flower appears bigger than the second. in orignal photo the two flowers were the same size. This is an excersise of changing perspective.
This was the other bitchy part.
I used 1" clear pine boards (which are actually 3/4" thick) for the exterior of this, and a 2x3 for the core of it. I placed the 2x3 by holding a door flush with the front edge of the frame, then putting a 1" board behind it, then putting the 2x3 against it. I then used sheetrock screws to secure the 2x3 to the existing frame.
I used finishing nails to attach the 1x2 plank to the door side of it, then the same nails to attach the 1x4 to the face, and another 1x2 to the side in this view. I then attached a strip of shoe moulding to fill in the gap, as the 1x2 stuck out about 1/2" below the 1x4.
Finally, to ensure that it didn't go anywhere, I got some 2" brass screws and put them through the 1x4. I spaced them evenly to look nice- 10" from the top, 20" between the screws, leaving 10" at the bottom. Yes, I'm that anal retentive.

A modification of Elizabeth Myer's Feather Stole. (This is wider and the center back is done differently.) Like all unblocked lace, though, this doesn't look like much of anything just yet.
Recently, the Real Canadian Superstore on Confederation Drive in Saskatoon had some construction within the store. As it turns out, it was nothing interesting.
