This is my newest heavy metal radio. It was found at the New England Vintage Electronics Club Flea Market in NH. I checked it out today and it works great! The radio receives from 0.54 megacycles to 18.6 megacycles. It was manufactured in August of 1945. The only modifications I notice are the attachment for the power cord and the replacement of the original antenna connector with a modern SO239. It is an AC/DC radio with no power transformer and all 12 tubes in series. The construction is awesome, as expected of Scott. This LRM (Low Radiation Model) is heavily shielded so that the signal put out by the local oscillator cannot be detected by enemy submarines.

With the new part of mini figure, I could finally modify the head part!

Note the unusual entrance door modification!

Bit the bullet and bought the new LEGO Star Wars AAT Set, mostly for Ahsoka and the 332nd clone, but also somewhat for the build. Honestly, the tank in the set is absolutely terrible IMO, but after a few scaling modifications and turret redesign, I think it looks good! Lemme know what you think!

I just add a broken Chima armor on it and another axe :)

ED4 (Electric train Demikhovskiy 4-th modification) is a series of Russian electric trainsets, developed in Russia after USSR breakage (before it all design and production were run on the RVR in Soviet Latvia) built since 1996. The trains are produced by JSC DMZ (Demikhovo Machinebuilding Plant; Russian: ОАО ДМЗ, Демиховский машиностроительный завод) and currently in service on Russian Railways and many former USSR states.

... one of the more iconic shapes of the SHIP! The angles on this frigate are quite a challenge, as Lego only give you some flexibility on shape and form and how all the sections fit together.

It worked out nicely in the end ... after some trial and error 😉!

Love to hear wat what you think of this detail?

For those who maybe have not followed the WIP-series, you can find a lot of pictures of the build here.

Did this thing. Sawed the elbow nugget in half, inserted a piece of copper pipe inside and done: the joint rotates!

Now I'll need to figure out what to do to the legs and Iria will be even better. Though, I might not do anything at all.

Commission alien. Modification. Work in progress.

When waiting for a new doll to arrive, sometimes I just create my own variation for a new doll. ;)

Although I try to avoid major changes to my dolls' appearance when editing photos, some dolls are susceptible to subtle modifications (IT Airways' lip color is almost always toned down because I like pink but not quite *that* pink!).

This collage shows a fairly dramatic version of Spicy in Spain, thanks to my boredom and to the adjustments the PRO subscription of picmonkey allows: eye tinting, eyeshadow adjustments, blush, and lip and hair color changes.

made a few modifications to my cobbled lens and sorted out a light leak..I've got the min focusing distance down to 2cm now and I.think I'll call it finished.., i'm quite pleased with the magnification i;m getting, this flies head is at about 50% size, the sharpness is surprisingly not too shabby either..

I was bored so I modified some of my figures.

TEM18 shunting locomotives are produced in Russia from 1992 y by the Bryansk Machine-Building Plant (JSC BMZ located in Bryansk, Russia; Брянский машиностроительный завод). Today more than 2000 were built in different modifications.

In later versions produced from 2004 (TEM18D) and 2007 yy (TEM18DM) it is equipped with improved 1-4PDD diesel, new cab, dynamic brake etc. 1-4PDD diesel is the improved version of the D50 family of diesels developed at the end of 1940 yy on the base of american ALCO 539T diesel of the ALCO RSD-1 locomotive obtained as the Lend-Lease shipments during WW2. Variants of D50 were very videly produced in Soviet Union as the family of engine for locomotives and ships. They were used in first Soviet mainland diesel locomotives, TE1 and TE2, and in TEM1 (2D50 version) and TEM2 (PD-1) shunting locomotives built in big quantities.

Aero Mod International (AMI) of Fort Worth, Texas, developed a turboprop conversion for the DC-3 which involved replacing the aircraft's piston engines with two 1,230 shp Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-65AR turboprops. The conversion also included a 3 ft 4 in (1.02 m) fuselage 'stretch' forward of the wing root to maintain the aircraft's center of gravity envelope. The hydraulic system is also modified and fuel capacity increased. The program was different from the Basler BT-67 conversion

While driving around the Topeka, KS shops recently, I found the unique(ish) 2931, a GP39E with a recently-installed "Thomas Brow" numberboard/PTC assembly, and nose headlight. Sigh... Unfortunately, a number of the units that have received these modifications have gone straight to the paint shop, so this one may turn orange soon.

My failed attempt at modifying the toy store into a bakery. I really wanted to use those old printed tiles, which I had from young... Oh well... back to square one.... :(

I took a middle of the road approach to cleanup the blacksmith model and changed about 8 to 10 aspects. Can you find them all?

Note: missing dog isn't one of them. :)

even a little bit sorry that there won't be so

These are 2 modifications of the 'magic ball' origami corrugation

attributed to Shuzo Fujimoto and Sing Keund Ng.

If you remember the original corrugation, it won't lie flat triangles up (flic.kr/p/bYXH9b)

These one have modified pattern and they're quite flat. At least the right one. The left one tends to have more curvature...

There's an infinite class of such modifications, I'll publish more info later.

Left α = 45˚, β = 15˚

Right α = 45˚, β = 27.5˚

both α and β may be changed.

The 'magic ball tessellation' has α = 45˚, β = 45˚

I just felt like making you cringe. You're welcome.

I made these about 3 years ago for a long-ago destroyed Hoth diorama on my build table, which was never meant for the internet. But I still think these are pretty cool.

These represent a E-11 with collapsible stock, DL-44, and A280 from Star Wars.
