AFOLs do it all the time when an existing set/design/concept doesn't suit our taste. Doesn't need to be overly done as sometimes just a simple/minor change can make a whole lot of difference.
The android head from BrickWarriors makes it look better than the one that comes with the battle pack. Main body simplified and replaced the binoculars with space guns. Need to make a few more for the grass plains battle scene.
The head and torso are from the LEGO Group’s Falcon figure with modifications to it.

The flaps and cartridges on the sides of the torso and knee pads are made of rubber.

The shin guards, thigh straps, gauntlets, and sleeves are made of electrical tape.

The shoulder pads are sculpted.

The wings are from Hasbro’s Civil War 2.5 inch 2 pack Falcon. I glued them onto a neck brace and sculpted the jet pack. All the sculpted details on the wings are outlined in black and I gave them a black wash after I painted all the details.

His mini uzis are from Minifigcat.

An absolutely superb Rod modification of this Zephyr. A show stopper in every way
In late 1935, Edsel Ford conceived the Zephyr as a model, down from the very expensive Lincoln K series (that competed with Packard, Cadillac etc, for the $$ of the very wealthy) and aimed at he Chrysler Airstream, Cadillac LaSalle, and the Packard One-Twenty, who had successfully tapped into the upper middle class market. At that time Ford had only the Ford brand for the Hoi-Paloi and the Lincoln for the very wealthy, and the competition had long tapped into the various levels between the two extremes. It would be a few years before Edsel introduced the Mercury.
As a 'streamlined' design the Lincoln-Zephyr actually had a lower drag coefficient than the Airflow, The Zephyr was powered by a small 75° V12 engine developed from Ford's Flathead V8 and unrelated to the larger K-series Lincoln V12 engines. The valve-in-block flathead engine was quite compact, allowing a low hood. Excepting for some Ford trucks, the Zephyr was the first Ford product to have an all-steel roof. With the axing of the larger K series Lincolns in 1940, the Zephyr was the basis for the post-war Lincolns with the Zephyr name not surviving the war.

It is an artificial modification of landform with unknown purposes. Trees are also cut. No research has been conducted so far to identify the time of construction and purposes. Similar land modifications are found all over Palau.
There are speculations as to the purpose such as religious site, fortress, terraced cultivation etc. An academic mentioned it may be a Buddhist stupa, which I believe is unlikely.

It's a modification of my old Jeep Wrangler. Now it has room for four minifigures.
Bit the bullet and bought the new LEGO Star Wars AAT Set, mostly for Ahsoka and the 332nd clone, but also somewhat for the build. Honestly, the tank in the set is absolutely terrible IMO, but after a few scaling modifications and turret redesign, I think it looks good! Lemme know what you think!

Since the withdrawal of Oxfordshire County Council subsidies on 20th July 2016, Thames Travel has been operating the Bicester Town bus services 22 and 23 on a commercial basis. These services run at a loss of approximately £4,500 per week and therefore this decision was a temporary arrangement, while Thames Travel continued discussions with several local stakeholders to pool existing finances and resources to safeguard the longer term future of the services. The company’s proposal included extended operating hours to better meet the needs of commuters using rail services, offering improved daily links to the new Park & Ride site and providing a frequent service between the town centre, two rail stations and Bicester Village. Unfortunately, while some stakeholders were supportive of the company’s proposals and were prepared to provide some funding for the services, others chose to pursue their own commercial interests and therefore services 22 and 23 were withdrawn from the end of service on Saturday 3rd September 2016. The Optare Solos allocated to these services are now hence surplus to requirements at Thames Travel, and have hence been acquired by Go North East, to allow for the withdrawal of further Transbus Mini Pointer Darts from the fleet. This vehicle was new to Thames Travel in May 2010 as fleet number 610 and was later re-numbered fleet number 703.
This vehicle has now been repainted into a plain pink base livery. Once prepared for service; this vehicle will be allocated to Washington Depot, and the recently introduced "indiGo" brand will be expanded to encompass services 85/86.

operated by Millardair as CF-WTU between 1973 and 1982 -
converted to DC-3TP in 1992 -
crashed Kikwangala (D.R. Congo) 13.04.1995 operated by Wonderair - airplane stalled and crashed while on final approach.
Aero Mod International (AMI) of Fort Worth, Texas, developed a turboprop conversion for the DC-3 which involved replacing the aircraft's piston engines with two 1,230 shp Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-65AR turboprops. The conversion also included a 3 ft 4 in (1.02 m) fuselage 'stretch' forward of the wing root to maintain the aircraft's center of gravity envelope. The hydraulic system is also modified and fuel capacity increased. The program was different from the Basler BT-67 conversion

A heavy modification of the 10265 Mustang Fastback. I wanted to pay tribute to one of my favorite movie cars of all time. (Update: less than 24 hrs old and already made numerous improvements)
The original model felt very flimsy to me so I decided to change it up and put it on a base plate. The result is more sturdy and a cool display piece compared to the original set

Commuter DC electric trainsets of the ED2T (Electric train Demikhovskiy 2-th modification with dynamic brake) project were being built by the JSC DMZ (Demikhovo Machinebuilding Plant; Russian: ОАО ДМЗ, Демиховский машиностроительный завод) in 1993-1999 yy with total production of 54 (549 cars). Then they were replaced by new project - ED4 with all russian electric equipment. ED2T design was in general based on the ER24 original project of the perspective improved trainset developed but never built in Soviet Latvia by the RVR (Rīgas Vagonbūves Rūpnīca, Riga, Latvia) with some new electric equipment but main electric equipment was still made in Latvia. ET2 project from Torzhok of Tver based on more archaic ER2 design of Latvian RVR competed for the leadership. Really the ED2T presented in Saint Petersburg at August of 1993 was the first electric trainset built in Russia with ET2 prototype was made slightly later. Ironically in The October Railway ET2 and its improved ET2M version dominates. On the base of DC electric ED2T DMZ developed AC electric trainset ED9T built from 1995 till 2016.
Due to apron modifications, Boeing 777-300s and similar sized aircraft are pushed all the way to the taxiway before the tractor is uncoupled. Here, Emirates A6-EPF with green EXPO2020 titles awaits taxi clearance as ground staff uncouple the tow-bar as quickly as possible. The flight is already 75 minutes late.
The time between the tug moving out of the picture and the aircraft starting to taxi is usually about 45 seconds, so there is no hanging about by a photographer who is trying to take a photo with an exposure measured in seconds - 6 seconds at F5.6 on this occasion plus a short delay since I had to use the 2 seconds delay on my camera. Now I'll need to figure out what to do to the legs and Iria will be even better. Though, I might not do anything at all.
