I'm in the process of making some changes to my drip kit. I haven't been able to get much more than the basic shapes in the past year so now that it's getting cooler I have some time to make some changes. This is just a test and so far it worked. Still needs a lot of work.
left Chemical Building, 705 Olive
January 8, 2016
It was revealed today that Restoration St. Louis, led by Amrit and Amy Gill will transform the iconic Adler & Sullivan 705 Olive building in downtown St. Louis into a luxury boutique hotel. Built in 1893, Restoration St. Louis purchased the 165Ksf building this past year for $3.3M from long time owners the Cella family. The building most recently served as the headquarters for Southern Real Estate and Financial Co.
The 130-room hotel is planned to fly the flag of Marriott International’s Autograph Collection. This would be Restoration St. Louis’ second hotel to be part of Marriott’s independent hotel segment after the Blackhawk Hotel in Davenport, IA, which saw a complete restoration in 2010. It’s been reported that the St. Louis hotel will use the “Blackhawk” brand.
Plans also call for a small number of apartments and a rooftop restaurant, an original feature of the building. It’s expected that the $50M project will seek various incentives including historic tax credits, tax increment financing, and other resources. Work could begin as early as August of this year.
The Union Trust building was constructed in 1892. This structure, built in a "U" shaped plan with two wings surrounding a central light court, was designed by Louis Sullivan's firm immediately after their famous Wainwright Building. Structurally, it is considered to be more pure that its better known contemporary. Modifications of the first two floors in 1924 eliminated some of the buildings important architectural elements such as its arched entryways and circular windows. Above that level, the building returns to its original characteristics, with uninterrupted brick shafts from the third to the twelfth floors. Above the rounded arch windows of the twelfth floor, a two-story cap has terra cotta lion heads projecting from its spandrels. Rich Sullivanesque ornamentation adorns the cornice.
Located at 705 Olive, the Union Trust Building became a City Landmark in 1971.
Two days ago, I mentioned that I may work on the background colour for this image, so I spent a little time in photoshop. This probably isn't quite right either, but one tries. I probably prefer the original bg.
The original is in Comments.

This Mazda RX7 is one of the most amazing cars I have ever photographed. The Lamborghini paint was so vivid, the motor sounded amazing, and the car looks so streamlined and aggressive! I'm definitely very excited to share this with you guys!
The car belongs to Brent Villareal, the marketing director for TunerLifeStyleTV.com - an awesome online magazine. Definitely give it a look if you haven't seen it. www.TunerLifeStyleTV.com
The photoshoot was done late in the evening, we were quite short on time so I did the best I could and improvised where necessary due to a lack of equipment. Most of my good lightstands, my umbrellas, and a few other things were not with me at the time. Pardon the dull backgrounds, we didn't have alot of time to venture out and try different settings.
Brent is definitely interested in being covered in D-Sport magazine, hopefully with these photos I'll be able to grab someones attention over there and shoot again when the car is finished (soon).
Before I forget, check it out - TunerLifeStyleTV's Video Coverage of the RB7!
Let me give you a quick run down of the modifications to the car!

Scott Gordon grew up in a rather wealthy family, and because of this has his own privet ship.
When war was imminent he decided to modify his ship so that it could be used in war.
This model depicts Scott in his workshop adding weaponry to the sides of his ship.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I recently made a facebook page, and I'd love it if you checked it out: www.facebook.com/pages/Hacim-Bricks/1533528776898616?hc_l...
The reason I made a facebook page was cause I wanted a place to post things that didn't quite make my quality standers for Flickr. So, you can expect some quick little MOCs, WIPs, and updates there, that you wouldn't get here.
Anyway, thanks for viewing :D
In recent weeks a small number of class 143 Pacer units have been back in traffic with Transport for Wales on their Valley Lines network. When in service they are always coupled to a unit which has received accessibility modifications - either a class 150 or 153 Sprinter. On Easter Monday, 143607 was the sole 143 out in traffic. Paired with 150252, it is seen at Dingle Road with the P64 1446 Bargoed-Penarth service.

After 4 months I've completed my build of Raskolnikov's incredible ISD Aggressor. I've made many modifications to the top hull to smooth it out and added in several features from the studio model that were missing from the original version of this ISD.
For the second correction I ran the Auto Haze Removal which improved the darker areas, but really brings out the blown highlights.

About the series (to which the Photo above belongs)
My dear Flickr-Friends, my dear unknown Flickr-User,
First, I would like to mention: “Mettwurst is a strongly flavoured German sausage, made from raw minced pork which is preserved by curing and smoking, often with garlic. The southern German variety is soft and similar to Teewurst.” (Source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mettwurst)
Second, I want to amplify: During the last years I had my camera very often with me. An immense amount of photos have been shot, most of them rather unplanned on walks through my hometown. With the series I would like to present a few of my personal favorites (most of them are less than one year old). As the subtitle promises: the Photos show undoubtedly/exclusively trivial things.
Fuck you reality, fuck you so much, I want to be cheated!
About the post-processing
For editing I've used the Lightromm plug-in "Silver Efex Pro 2". More precisely: Preset "Film Noir 3" as a basis (nr. 32), but with some modifications. Apart from other small corrections (eg in contrast or exposure) I removed the artificial grain and the frame of the preset and I added a blue toning for all the photos of the series. And: For almost all photos I used a green or blue color filter.
AFOLs do it all the time when an existing set/design/concept doesn't suit our taste. Doesn't need to be overly done as sometimes just a simple/minor change can make a whole lot of difference.
The android head from BrickWarriors makes it look better than the one that comes with the battle pack. Main body simplified and replaced the binoculars with space guns. Need to make a few more for the grass plains battle scene.
