This is a fake tilt-shift picture where I have taken a photo (from St Peter's Basilica in Rome) and made it look like a model.

This model of an Egyptian boat is made of wood, but most boats of that time were made of papyrus. Papyrus is a plant that had many practical uses, such as: paper, vessels, and woven baskets.
Chalisse is so cool, and I'm really glad she puts up with my wacky ideas.
This was lit by my car headlights, and a street light.
Thank you Ryan and James for helping me get this little car out of, and in to my big car. :-)
This was a great event. There was great food and the entertainment was awesome! The car/bike show was only a small part of the event. Admission to the show was $1, and all proceeds where donated to the Philppino community to fund a scholarship.

This was my Remembrance Day project: a World War I British tank. I've had the plans for a while, but it wasn't until I saw Ray's vintage kit that I realized how small the model was.
With the exception of the main body, the other parts are cut from 3/16-inch balsa sheet. I printed the parts using a laser printer onto paper, then ironed the toner onto the balsa. The treads are cut from the paper plans and wrapped around the side pieces. The guns are sliced-down toothpicks.
I painted the model using a very thin wash of green acrylic paint, so that the lines would show through.
I took about an hour and half to make the model and didn't bother filling the balsa grain. Other than using super glue, I tried to use only the types of tools a boy in the 1930s would have.
