I saw this Model T on the way to the Poto singlespeed world championships... The light was perfect and I was late. It was still there on the way back but the clouds had moved in and someone had opened the door int he back of the barn. So, still a neat shot for my P&S (which got me a good DOF anyway - I dunno where the exif went) but it could've been so much better if I had stopped on the way there... I was angling for something for this week's PCA and all of the lines here kind of fit the bill (overall image quality and the lighting doesn't though)
A model show held in Christchurch a few years ago now. I think this Benz transporter was built by the late Merv Vient of Ashburton and the scraper is likely to be a diecast from First Gear. They make lovely stuff, First Gear.

A pack of really cheap modelling clay.
I had high hopes for some photos of this stuff, but inspiration deserted me so I only came up with this rather bland shot.... ....and the couple of others I have just uploaded...
Hopefully the rest of 2009 will be more productive!

The Ford Model T was one of the most influential vehicles at its creation in 1908. During 1914, the American Expeditionary Force, French Army, and British Armed Forces ordered large quantities of this vehicle. It’s sheer versatility allowed it to be ambulance, delivery truck, staff car, and an artillery mover.
A code 3 model of the Corgi BET single decker. This represents one of the later Reliances for Devon General for which the window spacing is just right.
For strobists: Canon 580EX on camera left. Triggered with a Canon ST-E2 infrared transmitter. Between the strobe and the model is a large self made translucent light panel (just out of the frame).
After watching the truly inspirational Dean Collins DVD's, I decided to make my own 2x1 meter light panel out of PVC tubing. I bought the translucent fabric from my camera store.
