Sunday I did a model shoot for two models from the Riverside area. We shot at my studio and at a few outdoor locations around Palm Desert. I think it went pretty well, we got lots of great photos and had a fun time doing it. These guys were a couple of characters, lots of fun to work with.

Looking at the model at the entry to Hadrian's Villa. Notes on the model are where I think photos were taken? If I missed on one, I missed on all of them, which means I didn't have myself oriented to the model.

Previous owner bought it from a Sacramento junkyard in the 1960's for $8 and refurbished it. He repaired adding machines when he was in the service, so the innards of a fine machine like this did not scare him. This machine features "noiseless"-style typebars, though it's really quite pleasantly clacky.
Redid the feed rollers with rubber tubing from the hardware store. Now in occasional use by my son.
