Since I'd gone to Newport News' MOD Pizza about a week prior I figured it'd be best to give their Hampton location a look at as well, as this is an endcap space that they built out themselves. Of the two this one feels the most put-together for that reason, and while it has the same aesthetic as Newport News does (not just the décor but the black warehouse ceiling and polished concrete floor) the layout as different. It's a little closer to the Newport News Donato's that I'd also recently visited, where upon entry the counter area/kitchen is to the left and the dining room wraps around it. I don't think that MOD is gonna be a place that I find myself frequenting that often, but their pizza is decent and I can see the appeal of the build-your-own concept.
Making a poster for a friend's bar, I needed photographs of Mod/Ska culture so got my friend to dress up then messed around with the pictures a bit.

Vadar man nu närmare så ser man att väggen har haft en port som cementerats igen vid ett senare tillfälle. Vägen sluttar ner mot porten och vattenytan nådde mig där upp till halsen ungefär.
Ståendes på torra land i den högra grenen kan man skymta en vägg av armerad betong på vänstra sidan.
Still doesn't have a name. She should be part of my collection of "muses", something I'll try to show you soon! I've sanded her cheeks, nose, chin, and added a lot of epoxy. The right eye is not shown because I didn't mod it too well since it's gonna be covered by a mass of burnt skin, I think :/ Something based on the phantom of the opera! Stay tuned 8D

Rodoviárias de Londrina
Uma, tombada como Patrimonio Histórico e transformada em guardiã das relíquias artísticas de Londrina.
A outra, traz em seus traços a genialidade do mais consagrado arquiteto brasileiro: Oscar Niemeyer.
Em comum, esses marcos históricos da estética modernista na arquitetura paranaense, foram palcos de alegrias e tristezas, da euforia da chegada dos primeiros imigrantes de Londrina à ânsia dos estudantes universitários de rever suas familias no feriado prolongado.
O contraste entre as partidas e chegadas, os abraços acolhedores e as tristes despedidas, o passado e o presente, cada traço e cada curva das estruturas das rodoviárias serviram de inspiração para compor, numa linguagem modernista, os volumes, recortes e shapes dos trajes.
