I only ordered one doll from the Neutral Code collection because I love the original Colette sculpt. Also, I liked the idea of having a doll to pair with Mattel's Pivotal Christie from 2009. She arrived early this week.
Pros: She has a pretty face. And her hairdo is nice. Her accessories are pretty, but her shoes are a bit hard to put on.
Cons: The fabric of her dress is ridiculous. I've nicknamed her Ms. Umbrella. Enough said. The print is also faded. I've upped the contrast in these pics, but IRL the grayness is weird. Nothing new needs to be said about IT watering down everything with their dolls, but I will say I dislike how many front glancers they make nowadays. The dolls are flat, expressionless, and . . . meh. Another reason I'm buying less and less.

I finally finished it and I'm so pleased!
The binding was made with scraps from the blocks.
Kudos to Guy Tismansky for submitting this cool mod to the Bokeh Masters Kit wallet.
Now it can be easily attached to the camera strap.

I removed the original 4x6 plates and added a tiled frame around the container holders to eliminate the forklift gap that would make the containers look like they'd easily fall off the truck when driving through a curve...

I absolutely love the Concorde--one of great achievements of engineering and design.
The LEGO model is just as brilliant; however, I had to build it as I remember it thundering down Heathrow's 27L. That is, in British Airways livery (so-called Landor era).
This mod is not very involved; just a rebuild of the vertical stabilizer and a few new stickers.

On the left is the modded hand and on the right is the original hand.
First I sawed the fingers apart with a jewelry saw, sanded them a bit and then I modded them with heat. Dipped in boiling water, hold them under the water for a while and then reshaped them.
