for most philippine low income families the most popular and practical mode of transportation is the motorcycle, commonly called 'underbones'. although illegal, it is not uncommon to see the whole family riding the 'underbone'. you will normally see them weaving through traffic unfazed by the risks. what caught my attention with this image is the child, without helmet, standing precariously between the passenger and driver , whew!
