Mobility scooters are minefield nowadays - they have various classes, with some needing registering with the DVLA. Only Class 3 are allowed on the road, with a maximum of 8 mph.

This lady and her bicycle are a regular in Walyalup Koort. First time however we have seen her riding. Usually see her reorganising her setup.
Today's story and sketch by me 1525, is about the pedestrian that just moments ago arrived on our Tropical Volcanic Planet we call Budahunga. I was out testing some new high speed Huarache Sandals on my favorite Beach Pigeon Bernice. Bernice and I were cruising along the shoreline of Lake Budahunga, doing about 55 miles an hour. When I spotted an object falling out of a large spinning grey dimension cloud. It was the fellow you see with the terrified look on his face. I'm not sure if he's terrified of having fallen half a mile out of a Grey Dimension Portal, or from having never seen a nine foot beach pigeon wearing Huarache Sandals. Either way I will try to calm him down, check to see if he has any broken bones, then have a trauma unit pick him up, transport him to the Budahunga Urgent Care Center for observation. Then we can interview him to find out just what Dimension and what Planet he was on when he was abducted. Until next time Tata the Rod Blog.

Before the advent of low-floor buses there were a fair number of these routes aimed at people with mobility impairment. Usually a National with an 'assistant' to help people board and alight. Each route might only run once a week or not much better.
