This is the scene when I came home. My family was nowhere to be found. This was extremely eerie to me because this house is always so neat and tidy and here is a complete mess. It is like they vanished into thin air.

Whenever Pepper and I are parted for more then a day I start 'hugging' other dogs because I miss him a little.

I worked hard painting this fridge. It may have been inadequate for our needs and nearly broken, but it was *red* and thus perfect.
this is a local flyer being distributed regarding the disappearance of a little girl. i'm posting it everywhere and anywhere in the hopes that someone somewhere might recognise her. If you pray, please pray that she is found SAFE and returned home very soon.

This fly landed on my table and appeared to be struggling to move as it had a leg missing....
So I got out the camera and reversing ring to capture some detail!
I used two flashes, the pop flash and an off camera SB900 held above the fly, triggered by CLS.

Some spiders, including P. phalangioides, have the ability to completely suck out a mosquito from the tip of one of its legs, although this may take up to twelve hours. Muwahahahaaaa!
When the web of P. phalangioides is disturbed, the spider swings its body around rapidly with its legs attached firmly to its web. It swings fast enough that the spider becomes very hard to see. This may be a form of camouflage.
Missing in Action is a World War II image I created a while back. There have been quite a few interpretation of what the image means, so I will leave it to your imagination :)
