Just unpacked my BrickCon luggage and noticed that two of my MOCs (within the red box) are surprisingly absent.
I had not had the chance to do a photo-shoot for them before attending, so this image from Sir_Darc is the only good one I have.
Being the closest MOCs to the edge of the table, I have a strong suspicion that they walked out the door without my knowing, but any information is appreciated.
I found a stake labeled "missing stake", so I guess it isn't missing anymore. Or maybe it is really the mixing stake.
It is one of the stakes on Playalinda Beach that mark turtle nests. Next to it is a wire mesh that presumably helps protect the eggs.

Soon was reportedly missing person....,
some claim that they saw her near the park.
But Soon was there all time....waiting for the next victim.....
Dont open the door at the middle of the nite,
especialy when u heard someone is calling your name....

So I finished my Halloween puzzle and dam I am missing a piece. And right in the middle of it.
This is a CEACO puzzle and I don't know what their policy is about missing pieces. Does anyone know? And is this something the puzzle Dr. can replace. There is a lot of detail in this piece.
Makes me want to start counting pieces before I start from now on. I understand if this was a thrift store buy but it was purchased new.
Any suggestions??

This is my Voigtlander Vitoret F which I picked up last week on Ebay. It's Voigtlander's bottom of the range 35mm camera from1963 (so I read).
It's very similar to my Ilford Sportsman from the same era. Both built in (West) Germany, but this has an extra f stop and different shutter speeds. It even fits the Ilfords case perfectly, and as this came without one. I was thinking of getting a case for it but they cost more than the camera. But worst of all I dropped it whilst buying coffee and a small pin securing the top half of the body to camera came off and now it's a little bit on the shakey.
The lot of Heart Family dolls and playsets was missing the dad doll. The previous owner however, had about a hundred Ken dolls and one of them was wearing the First Edition Dad outfit. I thought, maybe there is the dad doll too somewhere in there. The problem is, the first edition dad is a little hard to identify, at least, to me. He has the superstar Ken headmold and unlike all the latter versions of dad, he isn't wearing his wedding band. He does have some unique color hair, but as I'm not so knowledgeable in Ken dolls, he just might be some Ken doll I don't know. He does, however, look pretty much like the first dad. The one-piece outfit was filthy, and it still has some stains but it looks a lot better.
This is an advice for everybody out there. I really can't describe the way I feel by losing my grandfather. he's been the patriarch that I've always looked up to, the one who raised me and not my "real father".
I felt euphoric whenever I made him smile, felt inspired whenever he was determined to make a decision, felt captivated whenever he asked me to have lunch or dinner with him, felt proud whenever he talked about the past, and felt privileged because he was grandfather.
All I wanna say is, don't take anybody's presence for granted cause you'll never know when you might lose them.
I'm sorry cause I never really had the chance to say goodbye, but I still remember the last time I visited him at the hospital, after he was finally half awakened. he couldn't speak nor move, he was paralyzed. It was the first time seeing my grandfather this weak in my life. I held his hand and whispered in his ears "Yaddy ana S3eed"... he tried to look into my eyes, but failed due to lack of oxygen, but I saw him shed a tear knowing he knew of my presence.. a moment in my life, that cannot be expressed through words, emotions, or physical actions.. this moment will always linger inside my heart, eagerly awaiting the day when I'll meet him again "inshallah"
