This poor little girl was being dragged all over the place by her very overbearing grandparents. They would make her pose with every float/car/entry that came by...she was miserable. Poor thing. Hope her day got better.

My oldest, Beau (on the right) was Javert (the inspector) in his school's production of Les Miserables a few weeks ago. He's never sung for anything before in his life!
Hace unas semanas estuve intentando fotografiar unos corzos en Redes. Ayer volvà por el mismo sitio a ver si tenÃa mas suerte y lo que me encontré fué el suelo lleno de estos pedazo de vainas. ¿Como se puede disfrutar matando a un animal? ¿que mérito puede tener pegarle un tiro a un animal al que solo te hace falta ver, con esas pedazo de armas que cualquier inútil es capaz de utilizar? Pocas cosas hay que me revuelvan las tripas, y esta es una de ellas.

i just moved back to cape town one week ago, and have had a really hard time adjusting -- i miss my (new and old) friends in europe and family and was especially miserable on the first night in my old flat. i had also left my analog camera in cape town -- and it still had a few shots on the film in the camera, so i decided to take lots of miserable looking pictures.
