As a project for uni, I looked at the physical and cultural damage caused by mining in Australia

The coal mining risk assessment includes an assessment of the Coal Authority Mining Report. The fundamental purposes of the coal mining risk assessment are to identify the risks of coal mining at the development site. The Coal Authority is a legal consultant for any planning application within a High-Risk Zone. Also, a visit to the offices of the Coal Authority to assess mining plans, a review of modern and historical published geological maps, and a review of technical reports/memoirs. The bell tower rang in the morning to summon the workers for a morning prayer before starting the days work in the mine below.

 

It was built in 1733 and supposedly the clock still works.

The First Meeting of D-8 Working Group on Mining and Minerals (WGMM) was held in Bali, Indonesia, on 11-12 December 2008. The Meeting was attended by delegations from all D-8 member countries, namely, the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Republic of Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Malaysia, the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the Republic of Turkey.

Protest rally called by Mining Dependents at Kranti Circle, KTC Panaji on 19.3.18. Supreme Court stopped all mining activities effective 16.3.18 after cancelling all mining permits. Navadeville mining area was once clear of tree's and these have grown since to surround this old building.

The National Mining Museum Scotland was created in 1984, to preserve the physical surface remains of Lady Victoria Colliery at Newtongrange, Midlothian, Scotland. The colliery, sunk by the Lothian Coal Company in 1890, came into production in 1894. It was nationalised in 1947 with the formation of the National Coal Board, and had closed in 1981
