Old Borim bridge was reconstructed / Inaugurated on 11th May 1963 by Moraji Desai, Minister for Finance, Government of India. Reconstructed by Richardson & Cruddas Ltd, Bombay
It may be noted that the bridge was destroyed (bombed) by Portuguese in December 1961 during Liberation war to prevent Indian Army entering via the bridge.
The bridge also collapsed or damaged (by passing loaded Mining barges underneath) several times between 1963 - 1985)
The bridge (Bore-Pul) was in use until say 1986 with some weight restrictions etc e.g Buses were emptied at the beginning and empty buses were allowed to cross, passengers crossing on foot and then re-board their respective buses on the other end of the bridge.
The existing new Borim bridge over Zuari River was inaugurated on August 27, 1986 thus abandoning, neglecting old Borim bridge

A collection of screenshots from the plasma project in Second Life. The place and all art will be deleted on Dec 01, 2008, it is too expensive to pay the Linden Labs' fees to keep it open for public. Its a shame, so many great non-commercial places like this are dying in the moment. They attract users, they are the content. Without such content Second Life is an empty bubble.
The Plasma City project is sponsored by Rezzable. On "The Rock" we have established a community of miners, fugitives, and space scum also known as "The Plasma Space Crew." Our team includes:
