This tram from the Spanish company Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarilles arrived from the test track in Germany on Sunday 25th April 2010 in three sections on three very long loaders, plus a fourth trailer with the parts for the long downloading ramp. They parked in Regent Road until around 10pm, when they moved into position in Princes Street for the tram to be put on the rails of the Princes Street tram station just west of the Mound.
This front section has just been unloaded onto the rails. It doesn't have enough wheels of its own to roll independently, so for unloading it had a small auxiliary pair of wheels bolted to the back. The back of the tram must now be jacked to the right height for mating with the next section and have the auxiliary wheels removed.

The inspector was an owlish man with large frightening eyes and a quietly predatory manner. He took an immediate interest in Hildie, who had just flown in from Stockholm when she’d heard the news of Elspeth’s death. She had not known Elspeth, but she had once been deeply in love with a man named Rory, who had been deeply in love with a woman named Elspeth. Naturally Hildie hated this Elspeth with a passion that was greater than her love for Rory. In fact, she completely forgot Rory, but she hated Elspeth so deeply that she confronted every woman named Elspeth she came across. Over the years she’d stalked and made threats toward seven Elspeths. When we told her our Elspeth was not her Elspeth, she said it made no difference; she could take pleasure in the death of any Elspeth. Which may have been why the inspector was interested. There was also Hildie’s natural bonhomie.
Then her sister Tildie flew in and things got complicated.
Then the small inspector arrived. He was identical to the large inspector except for the eyeglasses.
It was causing headaches in everyone.
I went into the kitchen for some aspirin. I was not prepared for what I saw. It might as well have been another murder. Instead, it was Erika draped over Claude who was draped over Archie who was spread around Margot who was embracing Swift who was decorously arranged over both of Clio’s legs and one half of one of her arms, the other half arm and its companion whole arm embracing Rafe around his midsection, which was parceled between Clio and Samantha. Cyril was holding a flashlight in his mouth.
I got my aspirin and retired to the billiard room, where I found the body of Hubert holding a glass of Pinot Noir in his lifeless hand. By Jove! I said. At last some decorum.
I moved a potted fern this morning and this creature was hiding beneath it. Biggest salamander I've seen. It skeered me.
The shiny thing in the foreground is a quarter (placed there for scale), but due to the angle it's hard to see how thick the thing's midsection was- about half the radius of my wrist.
After I took a couple pictures I upended an empty pot, covered it in redwood duff, and he/she crawled under it. It's still there.
Very difficult lighting at 305 South--the stage lights are aimed right at the performers' stomachs, so that their heads are in the dark and their instruments & midsections are very bright. Hence the appearance here that John is playing a pure white ghost guitar or something.
I have NEVER seen another one of these! I love collecting retro lucite resin grape bunches, and imagine my surprise when at an Estate sale, I find this amazing creation! Somebody took the resin grape balls, and glued them together to form a worm! The felty pipe cleaners around the midsections look quite old, so it was done ages ago. It 'did' have a straw hat on, I took that off and replaced it with white fur. Other than that, this is how I found it. ALso, that glue they used is like CONCRETE. I could barely get the hat off, and the midsections are stuck solid. I would like some of that glue, I neeeds it. I wonder if anybody else made these, like in a craft kit, or if it was just this one person being creative crafty?
The tail lights on this model are a bit deceiving. This is a special edition mod. Nose and tail of an old school model and the midsection/chassis/interior of a newer model. I forget the name people were calling it but it has one. It was pretty cool.
My body is getting used to not being on hormones and is revolting somewhat. I've been having cramps for almost three weeks, and as of yesterday, I have started to have pain around my midsection.
I'm seeing the doctor tomorrow. I'm so tired of feeling poopy.

The middle is also fitted with Technic bits that serve as "decorative, non-firing cannons," a means of intimidating enemies even more.

In Hungary a dog may have a head, four legs and a tail, but if it also has a midsection they are not allowed in parks (parkba in Hungarian)
This might be a leftover law when Communism ruled over Hungary until 1989.

2-7 Sculpt update on the bounty hunters Skorr and his sidekick, Gribbet. - From the Archie Goodwin, Al Williamson comic series, Star Wars: The Bounty Hunter of Ord Mantell. 1:18 scale.
Skorr is looking more and more like the Ord Mantell gunsligner I've pictured him to be. I finished sculpting the lower arms and midsection. The illustrations of Skoor shows the sleeves of his short cloak/coat hang lower than what I have sculpted. I sculpted them shorter so the figure doesn't look ridiculous when the arms are lowered. Having a static piece of sleeve jutting out the back of the arms would look silly. LOL! One of the limits to sculpting instead of using soft goods.
The midsection is to give continuity to the outfit once the upper torso is fully sculpted...so much of this will be overlapped.
For Gribbet, the initial head is compete and a cast replaces the master sculpt. I'm working on an alternate head sculpt that will be shown soon. Right now, it's all about the upper torso and waist. I want to also replace the hands with some slimmer, gloved hands.

A large 13th Century gothic castle, first mentioned in 1350, which was destroyed in Bohemian-Hungarian wars in the 15th Century. It was a quite large castle complex with triple configuration - a large and long bailey, three main trechnes, a midsection and a separate core. The disposition is still well visible, a path follows the first trench around the bailey, through the second and third trench up to the core. Two drawbridges isolated the core, which was otherwise surrounded by inaccessible steep rocks. It´s well walkable and very popular by tourists.
Bradish Johnson Building , 211-foot, 16-story Neo-Classical office building completed in 1918. Designed by Maynicke & Franke as a store-and-loft building, it spans the entire south portion of the block between Fifth Avenue and Broadway at 21st Street. The Fifth Avenue facade is organized with a 3-story base, a 10-story midsection, and a 3-story top. In the base, 3-story limestone piers with capitals create three bays. The ground-floor entranceway and storefronts are of modern design. Limestone spandrel panels set off the tripartite windows at the 2nd and 3rd floors.

Much like my refresher of the Black Series Mando from season 1, I bought the TVC Mines of Mandalore figure as I found that it was still the original mold from back in 2019, but with new and improved ankle articulation.
Well, considering the 2019 figure is what made me abandon 3.75 inch collecting, I figured I'd see if I could kitbash an improvement into this older figure and you know, I like it!
What I did was swap the legs from the knee down. Easy enough and if that was all i did I would be pleased, but in addition to that I swapped the hands to the black and orange gloves, and even swapped the belt and bandolier as I wanted the hip armor to match the new knee pad. It did require repainting that little flap that hangs below the belt buckle and back of the belt to match that grey-ish midsection this version of Mando sports. I also added the black cape from the first TVC Beskar Mando as in the show this cape often appears as just black. I then swapped the helmet as I felt the gunmetal color they used was just too dark and the dirt application way too sparse. I then removed that easy to scrape brown paint from his rifle grip and repainted it with some more robust paint.
In the end I think this is huge improvement over the initial release and I'm quite happy with how this turned out.
Gamp Lane with azul Fiore in Aqua. This graceful gown is created from bolts upon bolts of shiny organza, but he midsection is wrapped in a soft, silk, print fabric. The bodice pops out from the top of it, as the grand skirt flows from the bottom of it, Silky and feminine. * Topping it all off is Alienbear Designs Princess Carita Set in pink, Stiletto Moody Pinup Turquoise Patent, and Belleza skin Belle in the shade of Medium Smokey Wine.

This was meant to be a Wardrobe_Remix shot but obviously failed. I still think it's kinda cool though, aside from how lumpy my midsection looks.
This story pretty much writes itself. These two bull-male shopping carts engaged in a mating ritual going back as far as a peacock displaying his brightly-colored tail feathers. In order to display dominance to the female shopping cart, bull males will often times circle each other for hours. As this display continues the bull males will become disoriented and dizzy. Sometimes the bull males will circle themselves into a stupor and lose the contents of its basket shaped midsection. The last bull male shopping cart to remain on its wheels will be rewarded and allowed to mate with the cow female shopping cart. Thus, ensuring that the more superior genetic DNA continues within the species. On occasions, both bull males are knocked off their wheels. Without the proper appendages to become upright, they both will moss out on make sweet-passionate love to the cow-female shopping cart cart and eventually, both shopping cart will perish.
