A second day out playing with a new lens. The OM-System 40-150mm F4-F5.6. This lens only cost £109 new, and I have been really impressed with this lens for value for money. It's surprisingly sharp for an entry level lens. Especially with good light.
Taken at the end of the last Summer Bank Holiday of the year. The days are getting noticeably shorter now. Not long till the dark days are back and the mist is present in the early mornings.
In #WollatonPark there is an #evening #display of #Rooks, #Jackdaws, #Crows and the occasional #Raven, when the #birds #chatter and #swoop before #goingtoroost in the #treetops. Seems like they're exchanging the days news - fanciful I know!

Minimize the composition to isolate your subject. The composition should be simple, thereby drawing your viewer to the subject.
My first trip to Llandudno recently, I parked at the local Nature Reserve and got the Gondolas back down in to the Town. The Pier was very busy except for this quite moment by the grabber machines

Dolosses at Old Colwyn, Llanddulas, North Wales
These have been installed to reduce the Costal Erosion along Old Colwyn. It was the first time I've ever come across these around our Coastline.
Not my usual photography trip this time. It was my Partners birthdays and she was gifted some tickets to Harry Potter world. I'd Never been (or seen more than the first 2 1/2 films).
I had a new lens arrive this week, the DJI 15mm F1.7. A alternative version of the popular Panasonic Leica lens. I'd not shot anything like this with this camera so it was very much an experiment. I was surprised how well the small Micro Four Thirds sensor coped in low light.
