This is how Isaias Cantillo's coffee looks after being milled (taken the shell off). This sample has less than 1.0% of defects.

As you can see, there are very few physical defects after milling. This shows the craftsmanship and effort that the grower does to produce high quality coffee. To compensate this effort and attention to detail, we pay farmers like Isaias at least twice as much than the going rate for commercial grade coffee. And, ideally, the roaster buying the coffee will give him a personal recognition as well. They deserve that ...and much more.

If you want to taste the difference, just cup this coffee against a commercial grade excelso.

Micro preemie hats from patterns found on Ravelry. Yarn used were Caron Simply Brites acrylic yarns.

I'm not a fan of acrylics, but preemie hats MUST be washable & due to sensitive skin, it's best not to use organics or things that may cause allergies or be scratchy.
