how cute is my Mickey Mouse Waffle Iron!!!

I love these waffles because they're a bit chewy and doughy! Dust with powered sugar and top with fresh fruit and breakfast is served!!

Ingredients:

1 cup water

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup vanilla yogurt

1/4 teaspoon lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon vanilla

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 eggs, beaten

Directions

1. In a bowl, mix together water, sour cream, yogurt, lemon juice and vanilla.

2. Sift flour into a separate, large bowl; stir in baking powder, baking soda and salt.

3. Add sour cream mixture and eggs to flour mixture; blend until smooth.

4. Cook on a lightly greased waffle iron until golden brown; lift off with a fork.

Makes 5 Mickey Mouse waffles!

No its not flooded today but here what was called the 'Swamp' back In 2008 when we had lots of rain back then early in that year which is just like this month this year and i must say im completely sick of the endless rain and wind!!

These lorries are long gone and so is the 'Swamp' too which now has a football pitch on it now -which is not flooded which goes to prove its all down to drainage etc..

It looks like this farmer is trying to say something...

Mickey pancakes

When my client Amanda requested a Mickey Mouse cake for her son Brodie's 2nd birthday, I thought it would be great to have the classic Mickey hat as a cake topper. I think I even had one of these as a child.

And of course, the cake's gotta be done in the Mickey Mouse colours - red, black, white and golden yellow.
