I made 3 dozen Mickey Mouse cookies and 3 dozen cupcakes for a birthday party for my neighbors daughter. I was happy with the way they turned out and they were fun to make.
The best Mickey that I have in my collection* is the one that was created for me by my wife Linda. He is also the largest Mickey that I own - he is 28 inches tall and has an arm span of 28 inches. Linda made him by first modeling him out of plasticine clay and then covering that with plaster cloth. I painted him with acrylic paint. He is truly one of a kind.

For macromondays theme: wise old sayings
This is a small ceramic figure (about 2in/5cm) of Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice in the movie, Fantasia. I actually took the shot for another mm theme (I don't remember which one), but it didn't quite suit, and I posted something else. I've been waiting a few years for a better match of image and theme - so thanks for this week's theme, a great fit!
Image from our shoot with the sculptor Enrique Perezalba Red. Enrique creates large and exquisitely detailed porcelain sculptures wich combine classical tradition with modern twists, capturing dynamism and struggle.
For this shoot I had to fit quite a bit of lighting gear in a studio full of delicate porcelain to create all the light layers I wanted on the image, but luckily no Mickey mouse was hurt in the process, and we had a great time!
"Georgie, what are you doing with grandma's teacups?"
"Well, if you won't take me to Disneyland then I will bring Disneyland to me!"
If you don't know, you might want to ask. This was from our cruise in October. Our last night we walked around the ship and I took some night time shots. This one, I am particularly found of.

Colours corrected to counteract the orange sodium lights in the yard.
There's not many more distinctive lorries than this one - both in appearance and sound.
