Allow me to share some Photographer's Metadata . . . When we are in Florida, we make an effort to visit new botanical gardens with the hope of discovering some gems previously unknown to us. Unfortunately, most of them do not live up to their billing or advertising. At the same time, on each trip to Florida, we also visit Bok Tower Gardens numerous times because we know it never disappoints. We noted last year (2016) that work was going on all around the grounds of the gardens. On our first visit this year, we were pleasantly surprised to see most of the work completed.
So we began this year's first visit in the new children's area where we were met inside the gates by sidewalk art of a turtle set into the pavement by individually placed stones (these few words fail to do it justice). Next we came upon a thermal feature that reminded us of those steam vents at Yellowstone National Park . . . and, then, suddenly, the steaming disappeared and turned into arcing sprays of water (good for children to play in during hot summer days). Going a bit further, we came to a huge, 40-foot-long spider's web. The spider's web was actually rope interwoven and attached tightly by cables on its side to give children a huge trampoline-like hammock to play on (must be seen to be appreciated). There was so much to see in the 'children's' area that my wife and I felt it should be the first place for visitors to see without their children.
We paid a brief visit to the new kitchen garden which spotlights many edible plants we take for granted.
Walking toward the tower, we chose our pathway through the flowers carelessly because we knew we would be back to check the "other" paths at a later date. I cannot do proper justice to this walk in the brief time I wish to take here. Just know it is fabulous! Afterwards, we had a wonderful lunch in the restaurant (a turkey wrap of sorts that was the finest I have ever tasted).
After lunch, we visited the Pinewood Estate. Though their work continues to be on-going here, it is worthwhile to visit. Be sure to see it inside and out. Check its huge back yard and the pond at the bottom of the hill.
Bok Tower Gardens, located in Lake Wales, Florida, is not inexpensive to visit, but the visitor will never be disappointed . . . and remember to take your camera.
I have much more metadata from this visit . . . but I felt this brief version would suffice. This image at the visitors center was taken last year on my arrival. I have more pictures from Bok Tower Gardens in my "Bok Tower" album.
Metadata says this photo was taken at 7pm, but I don't buy it. Sure sure, it's late afternoon light, it's middle of summer, wicked long days...but why would I tell someone to be at my house at 6pm?? That right there is madness, I'd never expect the sun to last that long.
All that said, it was most certainly the waning hours of daylight, made for some gorgeous light. I've kvetched about this session in previous posts, but I gotta say, oof, such light, the sun was nice and low, I could get these deep shadows, could also get some very fun flare...I've talked about how I rushed through this session, was probably full from lunch, not really feeling it, taking pictures because I'd set this up but wasn't feeling it in the moment, it happens...but I also have this thing where I don't want to disappoint my subject.
It's not their fault I'm not feeling it, they showed up in good faith, hoping to, at the very least, get a few good photos out of the whole deal. Wasn't hard to do, day like this, perfect light, Perfect light.
This is from 2016, a many-shot merged panorama I shot of a layer of rock known as the "Rattlesnake Formation". As the metadata probably says, I used the X-T1 and XF 23mm lens, which I'd had for about two years at that point. This location is near a place called Paradise, California where we were staying. In November 2018, about two years after this photo, the Camp Fire raged through this part of California, burning down Paradise, including the home we'd stayed in.
I don't know why I never before shared this photo (maybe because its not as sharp as I feel it should be), but I found it while digging through Lightroom recently.

Numbers, letters, lets look at the blueprints. Puzzles, messages, lets look at the plan. Encrypted, decrypted, encoded information, the cipher of the decipher of the text. Predicted, restricted, classified information, the data of the metadata of the context. What are the algorithms, the sequences, the calculations of the code of the Beast Mode? What is the linguistics of the morphology of the syntax of the semantics of the schematics?
The coming apocalypse, the four horsemen of the apocalypse. The prince of darkness, the Mark of the Beast. Mystery Babylon, Babylon the Great. The battle of Armageddon, the second coming of Christ.
Psalm 75:8 “In the hand of the LORD is a cup full of foaming wine mixed with spices; he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth drink it down to its very dregs.”
They control the information. They control the information flow. They collect the information. They run the data through computer models and simulations. Data is the future. Those who control the data will control the future. In fact, you could say: Those who control the data will know the future. The more AI advances, the more it can predict the future. That’s why those at the top think: if we can predict the future, we can control the future. Well, that’s what they think. In reality, they can’t see their own future demise. They can’t beat God. They can fight against Him, but in the end they will lose.
Technology speeds up time. Not that time itself speeds up, but that more can be accomplished in the same amount of time. “But you, Daniel, keep this prophecy a secret; seal up the book until the time of the end, when many will rush here and there, and knowledge will increase.” Technology has allowed us to “rush” here and there. Technology has caused knowledge to increase. The coming technology will change the current landscape forever. “The end will come like a flood.” As time speeds up more and more, these crazy technological ideas/goals will come in quickly and take many by surprise. The globalists have this goal in mind: to usher us into the Fourth Industrial Revolution. What does this mean for humanity? It means transhumanism: 666 the Mark of the Beast.

Joe has been struggling with Cushing's and a non appetite the last 11 days. There is some improvement the last two days. He is eating raw hamburger in little bite-sized meatballs, holding all down. For a while during this time I thought I was going to lose him.

The Car
1933 Auburn 12 ‘Salon’ Convertible
In the depths of the Great Depression, Auburn introduced its new 'Salon' models in eight and twelve cylinders. It was introduced in 1932, and it cost under $1,000 - less than an eight-cylinder Chrysler automobile at the time. It was Auburn's top-of-the-line offering, presenting stylish good looks, coachwork by Limousine Mfg. Co, at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, buyers thought the old aphorism 'you get what you pay for' held true in Auburn's case, and the company lost money.
With designers like Alan Leamy and Gordon Buehrig, Auburn, Cord, and Duesenberg automobiles sported some of the most audaciously stylish bodies of the era. This example sports special trim features including chrome moldings on the running boards and fenders; a belt line cove fitted with chrome molding; and moldings on the hood louvers. The head and cowl lamps, radiator shell, and grill were unique to the series. This Convertible Sedan has a very low top and the body line dips low in the rear - the top folds flush and compact. It has a factory trunk and sports the distinctive bow-tie bumper.
Powered by a 391 cubic-inch Lycoming-built V12 that produces 160 horsepower, it has a three-speed transmission, dual Stromburg carburetors, and Bijur chassis lubrication. The original X-frame was supplemented by the addition of an A subframe attachment that reduced the chance of flexing at the front end. It also boasts the ingenious 'Dual Ratio' differential which was operated by a dashboard lever. The top speed of this Auburn V12 Salon is around 100 mph.

The camera
As indicated by the EXIF metadata, the picture (of the car and foreground) was taken using a Sony RX100M III. I recently bought this camera for my wife who, regrettably seems to be overwhelmed and intimidated by the many functions, settings and features which this camera incorporates. It is, nevertheless, an outstanding 20Mp camera which takes amazingly sharp, clear and clean pictures and offers many features that would normally be found only on mid to high level DSLRs. Of course, I had to try out this dynamite little camera while at the at St. John’s Concours d’Elegance this past July. It should be noted that the picture of this Auburn was not taken at the camera’s highest resolution – taken at 10Mp rather than 20Mp. I am hoping my wife will eventually adapt to the camera and we will be seeing some of her excellent pictures.

Need help with identifying this bird. I want to say it is a lesser yellowlegs since there were both species present this morning. The bill is throwing me off, i have never seen a lesser yellowlegs with a bill like that. If anyone knows, i would appreciate it if you would let me know, Thanks!
