Some photographer's metadata: I had followed this limpkin as she walked down the trail with her two fuzz-ball chicks trailing her. She eventually veered into the shrubbery with the chicks right behind her. But in a matter of seconds she had emerged at the top of this nearby bush and given me this pose. Photo taken at Circle B Bar Reserve, a wetland reserve near Lakeland, Florida, USA.
The Limpkin (Aramus guarauna) gets little credit for the beauty it adds to the marshes and swamps of Florida. It measures about 26-inches (66 cm) from beak-tip to tail-tip and has a piercing, repeated wail or song that often disturbs the peaceful atmosphere of the marsh. But I have learned to love their song anyhow because . . .

Photographer's metadata: We were driving through the Anza-Borrego Desert near Borrego Springs, California, when we passed this group of mailboxes hunkered down in the shade of a tree. As we passed it, I only caught a brief glimpse of the scene, not a sharp framed mental image. I turned my car around and headed back to see if it was worth taking a photograph. The photograph shows them in their effort to seek refuge from the relentless heat . . . my 'post-camera image management technique' has allowed me to present it as I first saw it at a glimpse. (FA)

I'm sorry that this image hasn't any exif metadata. It's undergone quite a few transformations as I experimented with new (to me) methods of editing and the camera data has been lost along the way.
It was shot with one of the Fuji cameras, in '20 or '21 while walking along the irrigation canal that parallels the Rio Grande in the north valley. At least the keyword tags given it in Lightroom have persisted.

2 minute exposure with Breakthrough X4 10 stop. See metadata for more details, processed in Lightroom, no multiple exposure stacking, just the single frame. I did do some with and without tests, there was absolutely no colour shift at all, anywhere in the image. Fabulous quality, very happy with this filter.
When I first looked at this image try to add metadata tagging, I didn't even realize there was a lake in the capture. Then I saw it and the reflections. This is at Bear Lake just before heading up to Emerald Lake for a morning hike in Rocky Mountain National Park.
In the Salamanca neighborhood of Madrid, at the confluence of Goya and Alcalá streets, stands this monument to the immortal painter Francisco José de Goya y Lucientes (Born in Fuendetodos, Aragón, Spain, 1746-1828).
This is the fifth monument erected in honor of Goya in Madrid.
The monument, designed by the sculptor Víctor Ochoa, represents a Goya already in his sixties and if the pedestal is taken into account, the monument has a total height of 3 meters.
It was inaugurated on June 23, 1998 by the then mayor of Madrid José María Alvarez del Manzano. The total cost of the work was 23 million pesetas (approximately 138,233 euros) and it was sponsored by the C&A stores. (Source: Various websites about Madrid).
Photo taken with a Nikon Z 6 II camera with a 7Artisans 10mm F2.8 FishEye lens attached for full frame cameras, which has 178º coverage, but has no connection pins to the camera, therefore part of the information from metadata is either wrong or does not appear.

En el Barrio de Salamanca de Madrid, en la confluencia de las calles Goya y Alcalá, se encuentra este monumento al inmortal pintor Francisco José de Goya y Lucientes (Nacido en Fuendetodos, Aragón, España, 1746-1828)
Se trata del quinto monumento erigido en honor de Goya en Madrid.
El monumento, diseñado por el escultor Víctor Ochoa representa a un Goya ya sexagenario y si se tiene en cuenta el pedestal, el monumento tiene una altura total de 3 metros.

Quando sfoglio il mio album di fotografie, mi lascio attraversare dai ricordi. Cerco di farmi tornare in mente non solo l'immagine, di per sè, ma anche il contesto. Era caldo? Freddo? C'era vento? Si sentiva qualcosa nell'aria? Ero da solo? Che ora era?
E' davvero bello sentire -spesso- che tutte queste informazioni sono ancora lì, nella mente e nel cuore, come dei metadati nascosti nel tessuto cerebrale... e così, quando riguardo una foto, in realtà la sento di nuovo molto di più e più profondamente. La rivivo. Ed è solo mia. Quei metadati fanno parte di me, e anche se qualche volta cerco di raccontarli, non potranno mai essere vissuti.

I was lucky to get out for a cruise on the longest day of the year. This photo was taken just before midnight on June 21, 2014. Ignore whatever the metadata says for this photograph, Flickr always adds a bunch of hours to the time it was taken. :)

Why data is more reliable than metadata.
In this particular case the metadata is also invisible from the publisher's perspective (similar to meta tags hidden away in the head of a template in a CMS), thus when the content is updated, it inevitably gets out of sync with the metadata.
