Karma a bitch? Karma is a classy and wise elder that will sit you down and serve you tea you later realize was laced with the same poison you served others for years. In the end, haters only have the hate and lies they spread.
50th anniversary message for my parents done in the Big Island style of graffiti on the coast at Puako, Hawaii (white coral on black lava).
Now a message brought to you by Jesus or are they people who just didn't register in time for the race. Just makes you wonder...

One of my favorite opening sentences. Focused on the first sentence when I took the picture and then blurred the rest even more in LR, applied a clarity brush with sharpness and saturated the sentence to make it bolder and sharper. The warm light is all from LR edits (low exposure and added warmth).
It is a tradition for race fans to write messages on the road with chalk to encourage the racers. This one written near the finish line speaks poigantly for cancer survivors who have gained inspiration from Lance Armstrong.

The irony. For this photo, I found this sign and then added trash (which was right next to it) to depict people's unwillingness to do something so basic as to pick up their own trash. My edits consisted of increasing the exposure on the background and when I shot the photo, I used a low aperture in order to focus on the sign.
These displays show the same information as the indoor LCDs in a tougher cabinet visible from a greater distance.
Day 10 (07/22/10): Kevin received the funniest text message today. I just HAD to take a picture of it for future laughs.

Had just gotten my M5 back from CLA, and much of this was via some golden hour practice, using the 35mm Nikkor. Ultra again was the film, and I knew given the light situation I'd be developing this semistand. The difference between AM and PM golden hour is strikingly different, which I don't think I really thought about much in the past. There seems to be much more reflected light in the afternoon, but maybe that's just the way my towns are positioned vis-a-vis the mountains and the other man made scenes. Thanks to all those flickeranians who continue to inspire - it makes all of us want to get better out there!
