(See blog for ongoing saga.) A note about the sewing... I had specifically asked him if the sewing machine bothered him, and he said no. I then asked him to let me know if he changed his mind.
On the way to uni, I recently came across this message board that someone has made at their home. It’s interesting to see if/what people write something here. This certainly gives a new meaning to “writing on someone’s wall” (Yes, that was a Facebook reference :S)
Nothing was moving, I wanted the signs as the main focus, and it was cloudy, so the settings are all pretty standard. I made the background black and white and increased the vibrancy of the red and green of the signs. I raised the clarity for the signs and the trees that are in focus. Raising the clarity or decreasing the highlights wouldn't have changed the texture of the clouds. The signs are "messaging" me to stop and which road I'm on.
First, Picnik got bought last week by Google, then tonight I heard that there won't be any hockey anymore in my hometown of Levallois, and now Twitter is down. What's next? Flickr being sold by Yahoo! to Microsoft or Baidu? :)
It will be nice to be able to show this to the future generations, back in the day when instant search was still a somehow new service on the internet, with which nobody was actually sure how to make money... Go on Twitter! The revolution is in progress! :)
I specifically clarified the words and increased the exposure because the picture was originally dark. Not the best picture because i think that the picture itself is blurry.
