Le messager sagittaire est un aigle haut sur pattes qui affectionne de nombreuses nourritures. Il consomme des insectes, des lézards et serpents mais aussi tout ce qui lui tombe devant le bec. J'ai déjà observé un de ces oiseaux croquer un jeune lièvre imprudent passé près de lui.

As I looked at this scene, I thought I saw "letters" on the side of the mountain. It's common in the western USA to see large single letters on the side of a mountain to designate a community - but letters from snow?
