I'm in Boston visiting friends, like I do every year. We've been walking everywhere.....to the arts festival on Beacon Hill, thru Chinatown, through Boston Gardens....etc.
Today my friend had an appointment so I walked down to the neighborhood I'd lived in immediately after college graduation.
I've taken photos of everything...all the changes, all that remains the same.
Today I went into the historic Old South Church of Boston.
This past weekend the Bishop of Providence RI tweeted that his congregants should not support the LGBTQ Pride events that are going on around the country.
The mantra of some of the more extreme Christian right is to "love the sinner, hate the sin"
In the foyer of this old historic Church I saw this.
With all I've seen, this is my favorite sight.
Imo.....the real message.
Engraved by insects on my juniper tree, the uncertain message is a wooden petroglyph. Like any language, with study, one day I will know its meaning.

The Easter message is one of Love Hope and Faith
So difficult for many to feel any of these things whilst a malevolent virus is on the rampage throughout the world.
I hope and I pray for this virus to be wiped out - not all the loving people on this earth...and for everyone affected by the virus
My heart goes out to you all...

maybe it's from god or maybe it's from you. I'll be there....
**For those of you who spotted the word on the beach, congratulation. For those who did not, it's ok. It's like trying to find that someone in your life; it will take more than just luck to find it. It requires observation, choices, timing and faith.**
Ombre parmi les ombres, ondoyant entre les fougères. Tu approches sans un son, comme en lévitation au-dessus de l’humus ; c’est à peine si les feuilles sèches plient sous tes pas.
A l’orée du bois, j’aperçois tes vibrisses dans les dernières lueurs du jour. Accompagné par le brâme des cerfs plus loin dans la vallée, tu restes un moment immobile. Scrutant le monde de tes yeux d’émeraude et croisant mon regard sans crainte.
Mais plutôt que de te fondre à nouveau dans l’obscurité des hêtres, tu choisis de t’approcher pour te montrer au monde, pour nous passer un message : la nature sauvage existe encore, il est encore temps de lui rendre la place qui lui appartient. Cette nature ne doit pas finir dans les livres d’histoire.
