Das Viadukt spannt sich wie eine leuchtende Geste der Zuversicht über den Nebel. Seine Bögen tragen die Gewissheit, dass selbst dort, wo der Weg verborgen scheint, eine Verbindung bleibt. Der Nebel verhüllt nicht, er behütet – wie ein sanftes Versprechen, dass hinter jedem Schleier ein neuer Horizont wartet. A wonderful meeting with my the other day. Hadn’t seen her for over four months - it was so good to see her again. I talked to her on speaker phone and had the same message written on the other side. Even through the dementia cloud, there was a recognition. I think the photo shows this.

Around the Zeeland bridge are many little ports. We can find some interesting details to frame.

This is piece of plywood I use when I paint on paper on the easel...You can see the ghost outline of many pieces of paper that have been clamped on this wood... Now its becoming a work of abstract art in its own right.
I'll be out of town for a few days... see you all next week.

I'm in Boston visiting friends, like I do every year. We've been walking everywhere.....to the arts festival on Beacon Hill, thru Chinatown, through Boston Gardens....etc.
Today my friend had an appointment so I walked down to the neighborhood I'd lived in immediately after college graduation.
I've taken photos of everything...all the changes, all that remains the same.
Today I went into the historic Old South Church of Boston.
This past weekend the Bishop of Providence RI tweeted that his congregants should not support the LGBTQ Pride events that are going on around the country.
The mantra of some of the more extreme Christian right is to "love the sinner, hate the sin"
In the foyer of this old historic Church I saw this.
With all I've seen, this is my favorite sight.
