Mustang Memories 2012
August 12, 2012
My 2004 40th Anniversary Crimson Red GT Convertible and my daughter's 2005 red Power Wheels GT Convertible. Great show, huge turnout compared to last year with the threat of rain. My rear tires and rev limiter got three great workouts. Thanks to MOCSEM for a great car show.

Memory bear, made with a layer cake of valentine's day fabric from Fat Quarter Shop. Really fun to make, and turned out great! My kids love to snuggle with this guy.

I realized a wolf was not inside you...
Cause if you were one
Red-Scrarf could be hurt
when she lost and felt lonely...
Cause path of her life was far away
You held her hand and embraced...
Our dreams had come true
From long distance...
I whisper...
"Where are you, now
my love...?"
When we took a leave
Happy Memories of you
Always hover 'bout me
I realized how much I loved you
When we lost each other
I tried to run away from realistic
that's hurt...
( It's just an extract of long lyric )
[ I don't think so if you sharpen an iron rod, in the end you get a needle ]
My mom has started including old photos in cards she sends and my collection keeps growing. I need to scan them so I can have them digitized, just in case. It never ceases to amaze me how many memories a photograph can bring back.
Taken in early October 2001 with a Yashica OM10 on 200 speed color film, scanned, and converted to b&w in 2011.
"On the morning of September 11, 2001 I was on my way to a class...."
"Memory is a way of holding on to the things you love,
the things you are, the things you never want to lose."

Lovely Christmas memories of visiting our daughter Jane who was living in Vienna. A wonderful place all year round but magical at Christmas!

Many of the objects on this wall were used by people who died before I was born. I suppose there might be some type of genetic memory that connects me with these things.
The small color photo is my grandmother. I do remember her. In fact, I took that picture back in the 1970's. The rest of the wall I remember from my childhood. It has changed very little.
