I try to scatter the light so it becomes only tangible
and in the dark I try to hide for the time,
because with aging the dreams are molting and memories fade,
evaporate.
This is why music is my endless desire to you.
This is why my cello hums - very gently and almost inaudibly - on the colours of orange and red.
--------------
Ik probeer het licht zo te verstrooien
dat het alleen nog tastbaar wordt
en in het donker probeer ik me
te verstoppen voor de jagende tijd
omdat bij het ouder worden de dromen vervellen
en de herinneringen vervagen,
verdampen

The beach is beautiful and the water crystal clear blue. The old town is pretty and there are some great views to be had of the town and beach from the old fortress walls. If you are looking for a nice, relaxing, quiet, and authentically Spanish beach getaway we highly recommend Tossa de Mar.

The spotted nutcracker briskly collects hazelnuts and stone pine seeds; it hides them in numerous hiding places dug into the ground and then memorizes the place well to be able to find them even under the snow. How? Well, it seems that the spotted nutcracker has a prodigious memory. Suffice it to say that, every year, it hides thousands of seeds and sowings ranging between 3000 and 5000! What is even more amazing is that individuals are able to find almost all of them thanks to identifying elements of the territory – a particular pine, a shrub, a fallen tree…
The spotted nutcracker is a widespread resident in the boreal belt and is distributed in a more fragmented manner in the mountains of central and south-eastern Europe. The European population has not undergone any decrease in the years 1970-1990 and is currently considered stable, estimated between 400 thousand and 860 thousand couples.

She can't walk anymore without the aid of a walking stick, but this gray-haired 91-year-old lady still has an amazing good memory.
For one thing, she still remembers the first name of my deceased mother whom she last met 60 years ago.
I was then just a little boy, so I can't recall an instant having seen her at our place of abode when she went there to pay to my mother her husband's rent for the use of a piece of farm lot. She started talking to me, however, after a young relative of hers mentioned my family name within her hearing distance, and this was when I paid a first visit to her son at his home today.
I was totally surprised when she asked me, "How's Ate Rosie?" ("Ate," a Pilipino word, is a common title of respect for an older sister, but is also used for other older non-relative woman.) In answer, I said that my mother has passed away already a decade ago at the age of 84 years old.

We had about thirty Ukrainian refugees living in the neighborhood, they created memories for themselves. They planted trees, put up birdhouses, carved wooden figures and were very nice. Now they have moved on.
Under an azure sky, Venus savored a multicolored cotton candy, each bite transporting her to childhood memories. A gentle breeze played with her hair, carrying away the scent of the sea. A vintage cotton candy sign at her feet evoked sweet nostalgia. Venus, embodying the joy and carefreeness of summer, took full advantage of this magical moment.
