Well, I went back through over 100 photos tonight and re-edited them! I thought I was done a couple days ago for December's LA Gallery show, but art is never done until it's done, and even then. . . Will be busy printing and framing in nice large, matted formats and frames and museum glass! Five of these photos will be printed on 40" x 60" floating wall mounted metal sheets! I think I know which--will share photos of the photos hanging on the walls!
The secret to HDR photography is that you want people to say, "Woe dude--that's unreal!" And not, "Dude--that's not real!" "Unreal" is the word they use when they're trying to figure out the photo--what makes it cool--is it a photo? Is it painted? How'd it come to be--how'd you bend the light that way? "That's not real," is what they say if you have the saturation/HDR/ etc. turned up too high. :)
Some (almost) final edits for December's Los Angeles Gallery Show! Printing them on metallic paper at 13" x 19" and mounting and framing them on a 4mm 18x24 white mat and 2" dark wood frame. Also printing some 40" x 70" whihc is over three feet by five feet! Wish you all could come (and hang out with the goddesses)!
Let me know your favs.!

Walking around the MIMO district in Miami with my trusty thrift store Kodak 2 megapixel CX6200 digital camera. Adopt a low res digital next time you go to the thrift store. This is the third or fourth time I take a photo of this building. I love the tower on top.
Malibu Beaches! Nikon D800E Dr. Elliot McGucken Fine Art Photography for Los Angeles Gallery Show!
Yet more photos and more final edits! I was up at 4:30 AM the past four days shooting sunrises! Awesome sunrises over Point Dume thie time of year in Malibu.
Then I spent all day today moving over 75 large photos into the gallery! Most of these are framed and matted with 13"x19" metallic prints and an 18"x24" mat and a 3" wood-grain black frame! They look awesome! Stop on by Bel Air Camera's Gallery downstairs if you are close to UCLA or in Westwood. Give me a head's up, and I will meet you there if I'm free.

Stitch of 30 pictures shot at 200mm and low resolution (by mistake, my camera was still configured for the timelapse I shot the day before).
I know the horizon and the buildings are not level, but I would have had a much thinner band to crop after rotation of the whole thing.
A nice view of the castle while arriving to it...
Original shot taken with an Olympus SZ-20 16 Megapixel compact camera, various post processing.
I was just going for what would've been a regular (and pretty dull) low-angle shot of the lane behind my hotel, when this girl and her boyfriend walked up. We had an interesting broken-english conversation about how many megapixels my Hasselblad had, and much debate over why they couldn't see the photos on the viewfinder screen. Fun.
Shot with a Hasselblad 500CM, Zeiss Distagon 60mm f/3.5 CF, Fuji Pro 400H film. Exposed with the aid of a Sekonic L-308 meter, and Scanned with an Epson 4490.

Yess today I received my new Sony Ericsson phone .. Not that I needed a new phone, mine was good .. But THIS one has a 2 megapixel camera! The other one has a video-cam-crappy-crap ..
This shot came straight out of the camera (euhw phone) .. Since it was inside my house, I used the light on the cam .. works pretty well ..
In the shot you see a frame that hangs in my living room .. I put all the money I had left from travelling in Central America and Australia, in chronological traveling-order ..
On the bottom, Costa Rican colones .. You can see some old, CR coins as well .. I got them from my Costa Rican friend Mario's father ..
Above the CR coins you see Nicaraguan Cordobas and Guatemalan Quetzales .. I did not have any Lempiras from Honduras left ..
Almost on top, there is this lonely guilder made out of silver .. It's the old currency of the Netherlands, before we got the Euro ..
On top, Australian dollars .. In the back there are two notes, the lower one is 10 Hong Kong dollars, VERY similar to the old 10 guilders note and the upper banknote is 5 Australian dollars .. Only LOOKING at the OZ dollar makes me want to go back ..
Tamron 70-300 macro.
Recomiendo verla a tamaño original, 10 megapixel.

This 8-Megapixel Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T100 was first purchased in Shanghai, so its got Chinese Firmware, which is interesting , but can be tricky.
Reinitializing the camera (to reset the frame counter), also reset the camera back to its default Chinese/Mandarin Menus - So we had to guess the positions of the correct options, to reset the language back to English!
Based on Konica-Minolta's 2005 DiMAGE X1 digicam design, the T100 uses the same internal 'folded-optics' and Anti-Shake technology which Sony acquired, when it bought Konica-Minolta's camera division in 2006. A pentaprism projects the image downwards to the CCD on the camera floor. The lens' extra internal extension allows it to capture incredible 1cm Close-Up/ Macro-shots, (the Chinese love to photograph flowers!)
