He'll bury it, or he'll put the little rake in your hand and make you put dirt over it until he can't see it anymore. Then he'll reach around in the dirt for it and pull it back out, repeat the process. Laura stuck the sticks in the ground thinking he might play with them but he really just wanted to bury his passie over and over again.

First shot on the roll, and it came out fine. Well, except for the slight underexposure, and the weird hues. But that's old Fujichrome for you. I could adjust the exposure okay, but never got the real hang of doing the hues.

This set of pictures is the first taken with a medium format film camera. Using 220 color filim, these were processed and returned as unmounted slides.

Heavily-expired Kodak Ektachrome (October 1987) shot on a 1930s Ensign All-Distance box camera.
The Autumn of 2010 was filled with pleasant arrivals, but which meant getting abroad wasn't too much of an option. The photos in this set are all less than 5 minutes' walk from home - looking back, this feels like a natural way to start the seasonal sets.
