More focus tests. Still off. Someone shoot me. Right in the face.
Great Wall DF-2 (I accidentally defaced the name plate when I attempted to clean it. Wah!); Kowa/Six.
I'm hoping to be able to take the Kowa out for a test run this weekend (just arrived yesterday)...we've had a bit of a snow storm come through...but that doesn't necessarily have to put a stop to things...the temperature might, however. The Great Wall's already had it's initial run.
Had a cool thing happen...for those of you who remember my having dropped my Yashica LM 44 on its test run, and then the shutter cock not working...I took it out today because I'm getting ready to send it to Mark Hama for repair and a CLA. Just for the heck of it, I thought I'd try the shutter cock and release and to my surprise, it worked!!! I tested it on all speeds and apertures and it appears to be working fine. Looks like a CLA will be all that's necessary. Maybe it just was stunned by the fall... : )

Today i picked up my yashica mat and im pretty excited to start shooting media format. after much research on the internet i looked up what kind i wanted and yashica seem to be the perfect fit. i called a local camera shop that ive been getting my supplies from and it turned out that they had this one in MINT condition. the man who had it was a local photographer bought it brand new, shot one roll of film with it and traded it in for something else. This thing is spotless and brand new. i got it for $275 and well worth the price. now i can start my project. hehe.
