A couple of weeks ago, I spent an afternoon at Didcot Raiyway Centre. Lots of potential for the stuff I like to do; they have a stack of old engines with the most fantastic detail, a lot of them in their original faded glory, awaiting the next lick of paint. Overall, I was pleased with about 6 or so images, all taken with the Pentax MF film camera which after a short break from use, was a joy to get out again.

I managed to sneak in to Flicker today. It's such a relieving feeling to come back here. I wish I could be consistent like before. *sigh*
So what's up so far with me?
1) I just got this treasure this morning. I hope I can work it out and learn more how to shoot film.
Thanks to a cool guy I met, Tom, whom I found thru Clubsnap.
2) We just booked our overdue honeymoon tickets for Springtime in Japan next year! Thanks to airfare saleperiods, even if it's 6 months away, enough time to get back learning a little more nihongo, ganbarimasu! hihi

The original scan was my first time trying the scan witht he film edges as a framing device like the cool kids use.
Wouldn't you know, there was a suggestion it might be better without. Could be true - you decide.
Picked this beauty last week In Hershey Pennsylvania. Last made in 1958. Uses 620 film and produces, 8 21/4 by 31/4 negatives per roll.

Shutter speeds B, 25, 50, 100, 200
F stops 32, 22, 16, 11, 8, 6.3
You have to cock shutter for each release. The shutter can be released by pushing slide on door or using a cable release. Has tripod mount on bottom
