A 29 turn three inch diameter coil is used as tunned loop antenna. The 2N3904 is configured as an emmiter follower, offering very little load to this circuit and positve feedback. This multiplies the Q and gives increased gain. This stage is controlled by adjusting the voltage applied to it with a 10K potentiometer and associated components.
The signal is taken from the1K emitter resistor and further amplified by a BC109 transistor configured in the common emitter mode. Detection is achived by the 1N4148 diode before being applied to the LM386 audio amplifier. I have used a 64R miniture speaker as this reduces the current fluctuations caused by this stage that are prone to cause instability in this style of receiver.

Founded in 1884 in Dayton, Ohio NCR became a leader in manufacturing cash registers and was the first company to make electronic cash registers.In the 1950’s, NCR began to make computers. The company contiued to operate from Dayton until 2009. These pencil sharpeners were reproduction cash registers made as corporate gifts.
This is some kind of expired Fuji 800 ISO stuff. I forget exactly. Shot on my Mamiya RB67 Pro S!

Also, please note it was cloudy, and I wasn't trying too hard to get anything special. Just needed to make sure all was well with the camera.

Homer T. Yaryan, held sessions at his home with the medium jonson, only with people he knew, the medium was going alone, there could be no fraud. The figure was dissolved in front of everyone with good light throughout the session. UP TO 4 figures appeared at the same time. He recounts in his investigations that kitty was one of the guides of the médim jonson, one of his controls. Kitty was a girl, apparently about 12 years old, bright, ready with qualms, and of good disposition. Kitty, after 10 years she was still materialising and was the same, had not changed, she was still about 12 years old. Yaryan had at least 10 photographs of the materialisations, one is this, another was already published, a photograph of his brother materialized.
