In einem Fotomarkt meiner Zweitheimat ließ ich mir ein paar längere Brennweiten zeigen.

Ich hatte zwar mit dem Minolta Zoom MD 28-70mm einen guten Allrounder im Sortiment. Aber hier, in der schwäbischen Alb, kam ich mehr mit Motiven der Landschaftsfotografie zusammen.

Ich hatte gewisse Vorstellungen was die neuen Objektive betraf.

Zoomobjektive sollten es nicht sein. Die waren mir einfach zu teuer.

Auch mussten sie nicht unbedingt Minolta -MD - Bajonett haben.

Ganz im Gegenteil!

Das M 42-Gewinde ließ sich per Adapter auch gut an meiner Minolta X 300s betreiben. Und ich konnte es optional noch an die Praktica schrauben.

So erstand ich unter Anderem ein kleines Tele. Ein Pentacon auto 2.8/135.

Zum Zeit des Kaufs wusste ich noch nicht viel über das Objektiv. Nur eben dass es sich um ein Pentaconobjektiv handelte.

Das Tele bewährte sich recht gut.

Lange Brennweiten werden für gewöhnlich weniger oft als die kurzen Brennweiten eingesetzt. Trotzdem brauchte man sie bisweilen.

Ich setzte das kleine Tele genau in jenem Bereich ein in dem ich früher immer die 80-er Brennweite eingesetzt hatte.

So, wie ich auch über die anderen Objektive recherchierte, habe ich mich auch über das Pentacon auto 2.8/135 informiert.

Das Objektiv basiert auf dem Linsensystem des Orestor 2.8/135 von Meyer-Optik-Görlitz.

Von der Konstruktion her handelte es sich bei dem Objektiv nicht um ein klassisches Teleobjektiv.

Das Orestor ist ein sogenannter „Sonnartyp“.

Was darunter zu verstehen war sollte der geschätzte Leser lieber googeln.

Schlussendlich habe ich mein Wissen auch größtenteils aus dem Internet.

Interessant waren die Infos über das Pentacon auto 2.8/135.

Ähnlich wie beim Orestron 2.8/50 hatte man, als man beim VEB FOG auf das modernere Einheitsdesign umstellte, das Orestor 2.8/135 nochmals überarbeitet.

Das wurde notwendig weil eine Druckblende eingearbeitet werden musste. Außerdem erhielten die Linsen jetzt eine bzw. eine andere Vergütung.

Am Fokusring werden die METER mit weißer Farbe angegeben. Und darüber gibt es in grüner Farbe eine Angabe in FEET.

Das diese Skala in grün ausgeführt wurde deutet auf ein Baujahr in den 1980-ern. Damit dürfte das Objektiv zu den Jüngeren seiner Art zählen.

 

Dresden Oktober 2022

 

Ich verließ einen A & V in Dresden.

In der Tasche hatte ich 2 frisch erworbene Meyer Objektive.

Eines der Beiden war ein Orestor 2.8/135.

Eigentlich brauchte ich dieses Objektiv gar nicht.

Denn seit 2002 besaß ich es schon in Form eines Pentacon auto 2.8/135.

Doch manchmal kommt doch die Sammelleidenschaft durch.

Seit 2014 beobachte ich, das der Name Meyer-Optik-Görlitz immer mal wieder in der Fachpresse auftaucht.

Blöd ist nur dass allein schon die Reaktivierung des Namens „Meyer-Optik-Görlitz“ die Preise der alten, der originalen Meyer-Objektive durch die Decke knallten.

Oft sah ich jetzt bei Ebay & Co. die Meyer-Optik-Görlitz-Objektive teurer dastehen als vergleichbare Carl-Zeiss-Jena- Optiken.

Wenn ich also 2 alte Meyer-Optik-Görlitz-Objektive zusammen für unter 100€ bekam, dann war das ein Schnäppchen!

Zurück in meinem Dresdner Domizil nahm ich bei Gelegenheit die Neuzugänge vor.

„ Zebra Nr. 2“ dachte ich so bei mir als ich es von den Kleberresten des Etikettes befreite. Dieser Look war in unserem M42-Arsenal etwas wenig vertreten.

Bisher hatte nur das Domiplan das Zebra - Design.

Wie ich schon bei meinem Pentacon auto 2.8/135 recherchiert hatte handelte es sich bei dem Orestor um einen Sonnartyp.

Auch wenn ich die Referate über den konstruktiven Aufbau des Objektives den Fachleuten überlassen will, möchte ich trotzdem auf die Besonderheit des Sonnar gegenüber den herkömmlichen Objektiven hinweisen.

Charakteristisch für Sonnare und deren Nachbauten ist die deutlich dickeren Glaselemente im vorderen Bereich der Objektive. „Nicht-Sonnare“ sind, auch wenn sie mit echten Glaslinsen bestückt wurden, deutlich leichter.

Sowohl das Pentacon auto als auch das Orestor bringen ca. ein halbes Kilo auf die Waage.

Mein Minolta MD Macro Rokkor 100/4, ein Objektiv in vergleichbarer Größe, wiegt gut 120g weniger als die Meyer-Objektive.

Und mein Orestegor 4/200 wiegt, obwohl es deutlich größer ist, gerade mal 100g mehr.

Mit den Sonnaren und deren Kopien unterwegs zu sein bedeutete mit schwerem Gepäck zu reisen.

Was werde ich mit dem Orestor anfangen?

Nun....ausprobieren werde ich es wohl an einer Praktica. Aber bei diesen Kameras bin ich mit dem Pentacon auto deutlich besser bedient.

Doch wenn ich an der digitalen Canon EOS 20D eine Festbrennweite benutzen möchte, halte ich das Objektiv mit Vorwahlblende für besser geeignet.
