Das Minolta MD Macro Rokkor 4/100mm
Dieses Objektiv ist Eines von 4 Exoten meiner Sammlung von Festbrennweiten Es kam in meinen Besitz als sich Freund Th..... von seiner Minolta X – Kameraausrüstung trennte.
Er schenkte mir 3 Kameragrundkörper ( an das neudeutsche Wort „Body“ konnte ich mich noch nie gewöhnen) nebst Zubehör und 3 Objektiven.
Nein falsch! Eigentlich wurden mir nur 2 Objektive geschenkt.
Für dieses Macro hier verlangte mein Freund einen kleinen Obolus. Das Objektiv lag ihm wohl sehr am Herzen.
Als Zubehör zum Objektiv gab es noch zwei Macro -Zwischenringe und ein Balgengerät.
Freund Th.... machte oft Nahaufnahmen.
Mit den Zwischenringen könnte ich, theoretisch, noch etwas anfangen.
Doch das Balgengerät benötigte ich eigentlich nicht.
Auch wenn da MINOLTA drauf stand und es sich damit um ein Markenzubehör handelte.
Ich besaß da bereits Besseres in Form eines Diakopiervorsatzes aus dem Hause VEB Pentacon.
Mir gefiel das Objektiv.
Zumal ich noch keine 100mm Festbrennweite in meiner Sammlung hatte.
Trotz meines Interesses an dem Objektiv schickte ich damals kurze Zeit später Alles, was Minolta betraf, nach Dresden.
Der Plan war, dass hauptsächlich mein Vater damit arbeiten sollte.
Ich würde gelegentlich darauf zurück greifen wenn ich mich in Dresden aufhielt.
In Kirchheim behielt ich die Prakticas nebst deren Ausrüstung und die digitalen Kameras.
Mein Plan ging nicht ganz auf.
Denn Vater nutzte lediglich die X 300s und die X 700 mit deren Zoomobjektiven.
Mit dem Rest konnte er nicht viel anfangen.
Die meiste Zeit blieben die langen Minolta-Brennweiten im Schrank.
Vor ein paar Jahren nahm ich den gesamten Objektivpool mit nach Kirchheim.
Auch das Macro fiel mir wieder in die Hände.
Gelegentlich recherchierte ich darüber.
Die zusätzliche Bezeichnung „Rokkor“ zeigte ein gewisses Alter des Objektives an.
Das genaue Baujahr weis ich es nicht. Aber ich datiere es auf Anfang 1980.
So, wie ich es in Erfahrung bringen konnte, sollte das Minolta-Objektiv 5 – Linsen in 4 Gruppen haben.
Laut Internet gab es 2 Versionen des Macro.
Die ältere Variante hatte sogar eine Lichtstärke von 3,5.
Interessanterweise konnte man bei der Jüngeren, der überarbeiteten Version, diese Lichtstärke nicht halten.
Mein Macro kam auf eine Lichtstärke von 4.
Trotzdem soll es das Bessere der Beiden sein.
Nun, die Lichtstärke allein ist für mich kein hauptsächliches Merkmal der Qualität eines Objektives. Ich blendete eh meist mindesten eine Blendenstufe ab.
Aber bei Teleobjektiven, und mit 100mm Brennweite zählte das Minolta - Objektiv schon dazu, war die Lichtstärke schon ein Thema.
Je länger die Brennweite desto höher die Gefahr des Verwackeln. Man musste mit weiter geöffneten Blenden und kürzeren Belichtungszeiten arbeiten. Und ich fand es noch nie so toll mit Offenblende zu arbeiten. Gegenüber dem älteren, lichtstärkeren Macro galt mein Objektiv als das Bessere.
Warum habe ich das Macro bisher nicht eingesetzt?
Wahrscheinlich irritierte mich immer die Bezeichnung „Macro“. Nahaufnahmen hatte ich nur in meiner Kindheit gemacht.
Und dabei kam immer mein altes Tessar 2.8/50 zum Einsatz.
Entweder mittels Zwischenringen. Oder aber ich schraubte das Objektiv verkehrt herum mit einem entsprechenden Umkehradapter an die Kamera.
Auf die Idee, mit längeren Brennweiten Nahaufnahmen zu machen, wäre ich damals nicht gekommen.
In den 1990-ern und den 2000-ern, als ich mit Minolta MD-Bajonett unterwegs war, machte ich keine Nahaufnahmen.
Also brauchte ich nicht unbedingt ein Macro-Objektiv.
Erst als die digitale Fotoausrüstung bei mir einzog widmete ich mich auch diesem Bereich.
Allerdings kann man mit dem Macro auch normale Fotos machen.

Looking over the railings on Eastbourne seafront, I spotted this shot. With the shadow of me, the lampost and balcony railings against the harsh pebbles, I thought it looked quiet effective in monochrome.

Paper thin poppies that grow in the gravel paths. Self-seeded and hopefully will come back next year but for now we enjoy.
